He actually had a calming affect on me when bring the ball up. I would like to see more of Shump at PG. Hit some nice mid range shots, good defense, played steady.

I will say Pablo keeps me on the edge of my sit thinking he is going to get called for a 8 sec violation everytime he walks it up court. I love Priggy smalls though.

Keeping the sg as the trailer is a great Triangle principle.

He played great for shumpert.

He played about as good as anyone could expect

The next game he's liable to shoot 1-7fg and donuts to finish line

And it'll be someone else's fault as to why

He can handle the ball in a pseudo point role

He can't handle the rock and consistently create offense for himself

lets just call it the way it is with him game by game.

I have very low expectations ...

He is Mr Bricks in my book.

That could be said about any of our SG's in the past. Lets hope that they all produce this time around

He gets caught dribbling too much. This offense calls for you to move the ball and move to the spot without the ball not dribble in place looking around. It's a bad habit.

You guys know I hate shumpert but I will acknowledge he's playing better. He's got to stop flying down the court over dribbling. He's got to pass and cut. He's almost there.

Did you pine for anyone of them to return

I doubt it and had Phil traded Shumpert

Trust me, your crush groove would be long gone

yup. of the 3 he's been the best at playing within the system. JR took baby steps today. Still took some terrible shots. We've seen him do it before the key is consistency.

I'm just glad everyone played their role and we won

He can bring the ball up, but he can't really create. Shump really had a completely miserable game against Chicago though. Still Shump was a steadying hand after the Larkin turnover down the stretch today.

Shumpert and JR smith played a tighter game. They took cleaner shots. Ny got great open looks and they made them. Smith Shumpert Smith and Larkin.

Pretty good D by Wear in the 2nd period on LBJ.

Yea Wear shocked the hell out of me with his defense on Lebron

I think he a great piece in this system. He can play the Bill Bradley heady, fundamentally sound role

Can't remember a Knick coach seeing an issue and nipping it in the bud as fast as Fish!

Remember Fisher also realized Dalembert wasn't going to be useful in this game and basically didn't bring him back after the first quarter. He identified Wear as giving Lebron problems with his size and gave him a ton of minutes when no one expected it. His adaptability is a 180 from Woodson.

Man I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I couldn't take Woody anymore. Fish is thinking out there and impacting the game by actually helping his team thru tough spots.

He's definitely better off as a secondary ball handler.. He was a good match next to Lin and he'll do sight in the triangle, where a lot of the decision making is taken out of his hands. But your team is in for a world of pain if you're asking Shump to lead in more tradional pick and roll offense.

He's hesitating because of old habits. There was a play that Shaq was critiquing there shump passes to Melo at the top of the key. He's supposed to explode to the basket but stands there and watches before he has that "oh snap my bad" moment and makes the cut late. Melo had to hold the ball longer then he should have but when shump cut Melo still hit him.

He's got to run the offense
