Wow he was bad last night but I put this on D fish. He's the coach--coach to player

How many rebounds did you have? None
How many drives to the basket--ah none
How many assists did you make--none

How many off balance 3's did you take hmmm 5

You play like this again and you sit. But coach this triangle makes everything robotic and out of flow

I dont want to hear it Tim---look at MJ and Kobe--you play the right way--take good shts go to the basket and get fouled grab some boards and when youre not open find the open man Kabeesh?

RIP Crushalot😞

I agree but this what the team is. It's a 42% shooting team that is why More Amare is necessary high percentage shots. Amare basically has to make up for all the bad shots the team takes.

You beat me to it. This guy is just another one of our way overrated yoots.

We gotta stop serenading them until they have proven themselves and not just blind praise their huge potential.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

He will. One game doesn't make the season. Give him the opportunity and he will pick those numbers up.

Vmart--if he plays the right way--he can score 18-20 a night.

Consistently? I have never seen consistency from him. He seems like a feast or famine shooter (9 for 10 or 2-10)

While most of this is true

J.R. Smith has been horrible really for 10yrs

He may have had 2-3 decent yrs if that

Shump has been horrible 3-4yrs straight

THJR if there is any saving, you have to

See what his full potential is so you know what to do with him

The hypocrisy in all of this is

Whenever THJR and Shumpert are mentioned in trades

We all demand they either not be traded or included as part of a package

Or demand that we get back high 1st rounders

But then we create threads like this suggesting they sit after 1 game played

Or prefer to limit their minutes and/or not start them

Why do we as fans have a hard time with being consistent-balanced-objective

Definitely he can. THJ can shoot he had a bad night so did most of the team. Everyone was equally bad. They looked confused, hesitant broke the system. Basically they all panicked. Fisher did too. It's called Learning. The Knicks need to learn to walk before they run.

This is going to be a process so best to curb all the expectations at least for some games.

Until Tim can play D and contribute more than random jump shots, he's really just JR # 2.

As of the here and now yes they are in the same league

Smith has easily been our worse player since Preseason

Careerwise no, J.R. proved to be a better prospect at early stage of career

Honestly it's one game... Thjr is our best 2 guard and should be starting ... D fish biggest blunder was subbing out the starting five too fast and ruined the good chemistry they built ... Jr and shump need to go put them on the block and try and get a solid starting c and back up two guard

Young Tim H has to move more without the ball. Did not see him take too many shots that were in the flow of the offense.

When things started breaking down last night, the Knicks seemed to show the same bad iso tendencies, forcing the ball to certain players, and forcing up poor shots, that they showed last year.

Yes, it was our first game, and it was against one of the best teams in the league, but for the most part, I did not see any indication of a change of thinking in regard to how we play offense.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

If you can play tough D we could live with the O. The problem is we dont have tough strong players.
