Which will be almost impossible to get--taking an educated guess that we may end up 4-7 is there anyway we can pick up a 2nd one and a high 2 to speed up the process of moving 4ward?

Im guessing Mudiay and Okafor go 1-2

The guy I love is Montrzel Harrell. He's a no brainer and a guy who will be a better stronger version of Taj Gibson. I love the body size 6-8 245 with 7-4 wingspan and the 38++ inch vertical with the strength and explosion. I've read that he has expanded his game during the summer to shoot out to 3. I love guys who stay and develop.

On the lower side of picks I like Frank Kaminsky--hes very under rated. He has a lot of assets that will be better on display in the NBA--GREAT interior post moves yet also has a great stroke out to 3. He could play C in the NBA at 7 feet and just be a nightmare to contend with offesneively. Harrell is a potential defensive nightmare and would blend well with Kaminsky who gets by more on length and positing. Finish that off with Jerian Grant from ND--the type of PG we need for the triangle at 6-5. A draft that is similar to this and one YOUNG free agent signing would be fine for 2015 as we will likely have another great chance at FA in 2016. So that would take 2 more years from now. I think we can acquire a 2nd one around 15-25 and if Grant is there in the high 30's just buy a pick--they seem to be avaialble

That would give us

7-0 245 Frank Kaminsky C

6-8 245 Montrezell Harrell PF

6-5 210 Jerian Grant PG

That would be a coup of a hall.

This is how Utah has rebuilt quickly--theyve had multiple drafts where they had 2-3 picks and they executed and ready for 10 years of being a team that can really compete.

As I read your post, I was wondering if there was anyway for us to get a 2nd draft pick. After all, there seems to be a team every year that thinks they are a sure-fire playoff team and then has a colossal flameout. Last year,we were that team. This year, I got a feeling that it will be the Grizzlies, Mavericks and/or the Raptors (particularly if Lowry gets hurt or goes into non-contract year mode). If we could acquire a poorly protected 2015 1st rounder from a team like that finds itself in those circumstances, I think it'd go a long way to accomplishing some of the stuff you mentioned.

I like Harell as well, since he was in last year's draft but I view him more as a JJ Hickson than a Taj Gibson. Whatever the outcome, I'd be thrilled regardless. Are there any triangle capable PG's that are expected to be available in this years draft?

Harrell will move up to pick 4 or 5 this year maybe even 2. I expect Kaminsky even though projected to early round 2 will make it up to 12-16. If you look at how they both play--its almost a match made in heaven. They would be upperclassmen who could play right away and Im not doubting they both might be better than what we have on the roster. Sometimes stats in CBB for a big man can be misleading although I sense both will be close to 20-10 players this year. That would require a tank for a top 5 pick AND a trade where we could acquire a 2nd mid range pick. Grant would be a guy we'd have to hope slides just a tad or we can always flip a pick for an additional one. If we rebuild--Id like to expedite it. This is going to be a 2-4 year process. I can see our team IF built the right way--if we are savvy--as a team who will be a fierce up and coming team in 2 years.

Id be willing to let next years free agency go IF we can acquire picks by taking on cash next year. Id rather have the funds maxed in 2016 anyway.
