I know night in and night out I'm gonna go out there and put my work in regardless of win, loss, or draw

Last time I checked there are

No ties or draws in the NBA

Maybe there's some fine printed

Rule I'm unaware of

Where's Donovan McNabb when you

Need him the most on game rules

I could care less what he says at this point. I just want Melo to buy in and play the way Fish and Phil are teaching him to play. In the end that is all that matters. Melo has so much talent but has lacked the knowledge of how to win. Hopefully he's being taught these things and we'll see an improved player.

he admitted he forced his way here. his lack of success is directly linked to that.

and yet he considers himself underrated.

notice how easy it is for him to compartmentalize!

even better he is comparing himself to derek jeter: ""I know how consistent I've been over my career. To do it day in and day out and night in and night out on a very consistent basis year in year out..."

notice the grandiosity!

just sickening. he needs help alright

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

This is a fair assessment of Melo. The guy has all the talent in the world but he needs to buy into the system more. For example i have always been a big George Karl fan as a coach and i feel personally if Melo bought into his coach more then Denver might have won a title or at least gone further more often

"Star" means old in Russian.
I think Melo is not Supper-old yet but not getting younger.
Time to do something significant with his sport carrier.
He is superstar pro sport businessmen already... So time to think about the basketball itself.

its

training camp

so

I thought I would

check

in

and

see

what the

Knick fans were talking about

You

know

with

the new year

a new

system

a new

coach

a rebuilt roster

but

I

see

the same guys

posting the same stuff

over

and

over

and

over again...

No doubt lamenting the loss of hero Paul George...

or

perhaps wishing for

a

true

blue chip

underated star

like Thadeus Young!

But

alas....

it appears to be the same

fodder

typed in

new and

increasingly avant garde styles.

Good discussion!

Go Knicks!

I can

only

speak for

myself (ok, and nixluva and MrEarl)

when I say its going to be a great season.

Maybe the team

isnt great.

Its possible

they stuggle....

But its truley the start

of

a

new

era.

Phil Jackson

has

full

autonomy and thats a good thing.

He

talks

to the media.

He gives the fans

information.

Our

new

head

coach

is starting with defense.

It the start of a new era.

Its

pretty

exciting.

Nice

to

see

the

new

fans

on

this

site

adding new ideas and styles of posting.

I like it!

Welcome to all

kum

ba

ya.

Go Knicks!!!!!

Melo still sux.

[He forced his way here]

Melo makes no one and nothing better

[He forced his way here]

Melo will force Fish and Pjax out, just you wait and see

[He forced his way here]

Melo made the playoffs, but he sux in the playoffs.

[He forced his way here]

Melo didn't make the playoffs last season.

[He forced his way here]

Melo is to blame for everything.

[He forced his way here]

Jus hate Melo.

The most underrated superstar is usually the one who thinks he is a superstar.

Not much going on here but your in fact taking the bait and enableing the obsessive.
Some just want to keep breaking down the past as if we don't already know Melo's playoff track record.
Some arguements are like gum. Just loses it flavor after a while.

Always good to follow in Marbury's footsteps. While he didn't say the same thing, reminds me of it. And we know it worked out for Marbs, who is now a two time champion... in China.

Let's face it besides Bobo the wrestler. Melo is probably the dumbest athlete on and off the court in the history of sports

When I saw the article on the first page, I knew a certain poster would jump at the chance to start a thread on it.....
