LOL! ok sure...but only if they give us Luis Gonzalez for Enrique Wilson & Tony Clark...afterall, who will be our 4th OFer if we lose Lofton?

of course, that will also mean that they'll have to give us Richie Sexson for Homer Bush...since the Yanks will need a good backup 1B if they trade Clark.

but then, who will be our pinch runner? forget it...NO DEAL!

LOL. You guys are sick. It is funny how stacked the yanks are and we are hot right now.. our rotation is set with VAZ, Brown, Mussina and Lieber. We also have 4 of the first 42 picks in this years draft, thanks to pettite and Wells leaving.. The rich get Richer!!

it is sick though....if Randy Johnson is available though he will be in NY. Steinbrenner always gets what he wants.

Don't forget that the D'backs owner Colangelo hates Steinbrenner. Steinbrenner signed Wells a couple of years ago when the D'backs already had a handshake agreement with him. That really upset him

Remember this offseason the D'backs kept demanding the Yankees give up both Soriano and Nick Johnson for Curt Schilling, and then turned around and traded Schilling to Boston for much less. Obviously these were exorbitant, unrealistic demands, as the Yanks eventually traded Soriano and Johnson to get ARod and Vazquez, which anyone would tell you is much better than Schilling.

But I would expect the D'Backs to once again ask for King's ransom, especially for a guy like Randy Johnson.

Unit has a full no trade clause...& he's perfectly happy in Arizona w/his family...he's not going anywhere.
