The star forward has been working out at the team's facility in Westchester recently, along with "six or seven" other Knicks, to get a head start on the new triangle offense.

"I haven't been broadcasting it, man. But I've been at the facility for the last couple of weeks with the young guys, with the coaches, trying to figure out that triangle offense," Anthony said.

The Knicks and new head coach Derek Fisher are expected to install the triangle offense this season.

Anthony says that he "can't wait" to learn the offense that helped Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant win championships under Phil Jackson-coached teams.

"Without a doubt, without a doubt. When people say spots, I'm going to be all over the floor in the triangle," Anthony said. "It makes it hard to guard, it keeps all eyes off of you. I'm looking forward to it, I've been saying it all summer. I can't wait."

Is Fisher attending these sessions? If so even better, the more they figure out the triangle before the season the less growing pains they'll have when the games start to count. Good to see melo is taking basketball as seriously as all his businessman/investor aspirations we keep hearing about.

Hopefully this,
with the coaches
, means he is with some combo of Rambis, Cleammons and Fisher.

Definitely good to hear. The triangle isnt something you can master overnight. getting a head start is certainly noteworthy. Kudos Melo.

I'm already so pumped for the new season. A fresh start with Phil, Fish, Melo, the new system and a revamped roster. It seems much more upbeat this summer. I think Phil has lightened the mood around the team. Media and players seem more relaxed and ready to work. I think the atmosphere is less toxic than last summer when Dolan was in control and messing with Woody which had a trickle down effect in a very negative way. Now Phil is in control and you can see he's changed the culture already!!!
