Beware of the anti-Knick patrol. They are going come in here telling you not to read into this and to curb your enthusiasm because Melo or because Dolan.

16 appearances for the Knicks, not bad considering we were lucky to get any games on TV not so long ago.

The Lakers won 27 last year and espn is predicting 30 wins for them this season and they have 20 televised games.

LA and NY will always have interest nationally. X New Yorkers are everywhere. It's incredible how many NY'ers are here in Georgia. It's exciting to see the Knicks have so many national games. If they have a good year it's a nice showcase and will help a little bit with the recruiting of free agents. We need to get some of the glamour back in the Knicks franchise.

I've lived in Boston, Arizona, Maryland.......NY'ers are everywhere at all ages. Arizona probably has the most retired NY'ers I've seen. Once you make that long trip to AZ and enjoy that warm winter weather, it's hard to come back! We live in Maryland now (even more NY'ers here) but own a house in AZ, which will eventually be our winter home.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

Go to BobCat games one might not know who the home team is given the crowd response.

They are Hornets again with a team that should do better. Ticketprices on the secondary market for them was pretty laughable.

I almost treated myself to a courtside seat for $800. Its on the bucketlist. Problem is if the game sucks its not a great experience.

Anyway I doubt that opportunity does not come around again. It was on Stubhub and it came and went pretty quickly. It was just one ticket. I never go to a game alone and really think of it as a social event.

I have been to an NBA game in Boston, ATL, Miami, and charlotte, and of course the Nets when they were in Jersey, none of those arena's the could come close to the energy in MSG even when we won 23 games with larry brown.

MSG is a special place to watch a game, and NYKER's are all over the globe

Very true.

I have not been to MSG in about 8 years to see a knick game. My first game as a wee lad was in 1971 and when my uncle died in July of 1973 so went the season tix. It was a tragic death to my family and always grateful he introduced me to basketball and the knicks.

Those games were magic and the crowd was really into it.

Everything else seems like ignorant homerism with dumb fans arguing dumb calls. Im doing the "Back in the day" rant here, but iM actually glad the new rules of arguing with refs is keeping taunting, preening, glaring and arguing way down. Dumb ass JR smith engaged with refs while play blows by him is way too much in my book.
Which leads me to Clyde. The man never argued a call, never got confronted a player or lost it. He discussed this in his book years ago that he was not into expending the energy and wasting his time. As a leader he got angry and but would refocus on the task and winning was the ultimate revenge. he might do more to embarrass a player to prove his point.

As a kid I had a bad temper on the basketball court and eventually got to be "Cool like clyde" as it worked better. The refs were more respectful and would talk to you if you showed them respect first. I think clyde did well. Leadership has many faces and being "cool" is one of them. When your leader loses it sometimes a team will melt down around him.

Seems when the knicks are relevant the garden is buzzing. Looks like Golden state has great fans too!

Lakers are on too much. Its a Kobe thing. With knicks, its a Melo thing. Ratings are what count.

Two years ago I got League pass but not last year. I might spring for it this year. Cleveland will be interesting but Im sure they will be on plenty. I do follow the Nets some and sure as hell would love to see all the knick-Net games this year.

I actually skipped League Pass last year too. This is something I do, as I wait a bit to buy, but things went south so fast. I still watched the games on boot leg Lo Def. It's crazy how painful last year was to go thru. Definitely one of the worst over the decades. It seems when expectations are raised like that after the 54 win team, it's real hard to handle such a major drop off in one year that wasn't due to a star player going down.

I'm looking forward to a lot of things this year. New coach, new system and a few new players to watch. If they get back to the playoffs it would be great.

If woodson was still here i would scrap my league pass.. but I'm in MD and i've been trying to find a place out here to watch a Knick game, and lets just say it's been 8 yrs and I'm still searching. I tried that bootleg online sht, I almost slammed my lap top, and trash my desk top..

I can tell if were going to be good this season just by watching preseason. If we spend the entire preseason searching for a rotation , were going to be a bad team. Roles should be define from the gate, IMO preseason is to get everybody comfortable in their role, and focus on executing.

Last yr we were a complete mess in preseason, and that rolled right into the season, the yr before that we had a nice preseason, the ball movement was crisp, the trapping defense was stellar and we rolled right into the season click clacking.
