Minnesota suxks. Players go there to die....ain't **** to do out there. It's cold as a nuns nipple.

why don't they move the team up the block to St. LOUIS.....or Kansas city?

Syracuse needs a team too.

What up with the Seattle supersonics? My heart goes out to them. That's a big time basketball town. They need their team back and they need the NBA to foot the bill for free tickets for fans in the cheap seats.

Any other city need a team. It doesn't have to be a realistic option. Is just something to talk about

the league needs to contract. do you mean there are franchises who should move to these cities and if so which ones?
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I would add St. Louis to the mix and another city I would consider is Austin TX.

St. Louis is a good one. Maybe Kansas City

The Kings were there and I believe their attendance wasn't very good.

Back in the day the dynamics of some cities were different. The kings actually called Omaha home as well. Before that they were the Royals in Cincy! The Nats in syracuse became the 76ers when the Warrior left Philly.

I agree Seattle should get the next team as I also believe Las Vegas.

Pittsburgh has teams in the other 3 sports and people here love their teams. It's not a very wealthy area though. Money doesn't pour in like in other cities.

the problem with expansion/contraction is very few teams are economic and or success proof like the Knicks are. Kings are good example... that place was nuts when they were good. Those Peja/CWebb/Vlade/Jason Williams teams were among the most entertaining. Building sold out, place was great. Now they want to move because the economy was bad for awhile, nobody came and the team sucked.

I think the # of teams is right. Teams that are struggling need to adapt their business models just like every other business.

I don't think contraction is happening any time soon. They've talked a number of times about hoping to expand to Europe actually

something nuts would have to happen to contract. Remember owners get money to expand. Contraction will never happen. It takes money right out of the owners pocket and they dont like that

Instead of straight up expansion into Europe would be something modeled on the UEFA champions league where the top 4 teams from every European country play in a super league/tourney.

So you'd have the top 4 NBA teams up against the top 4 from Spain, etc.

I like that idea. Like an ELITE 8 type tournament. In the NBA we can say the Champion and runner up gets the 2 top bids, then the top 2 teams via record round out the top 4.
