Phil and Fish have spoken highly of Dalembert. They just signed Cole. Ellington could be shifted for a second rounder. I'd say Tyler is the most likely.

Have to say, though, that for a guy trying to help demonstrate the Triangle, he did a little too much dribbling at times.

Might get a call from another team for a training camp tryout, but if he doesn't and still wants to play I'm sure he can play overseas.

Man, I dunno about that. This dude can shoot the rock! Good offensive player and he's on a very reasonable contract. You figure he has value in this system too...Let him compete for a spot, no need to cut anyone now -- you can have a few more players for training camp/pre-season anyway, no? If anything, he's a perfect sweetener for a potential trade. I couldn't condone just waiving him at this point.

I think they probably should stash Thanasis for a year like we've been hearing, if they're even allowed to do that. That would free up another spot. And some kind of 2 for 1, 3 for 1 trade would be perfect (ex. JR/Pablo/Ellington for Ilyasova, something like that)..

I agree with Briggs' 'let it be' post in the sense that we shouldn't look to make any 'homerun' moves right now that would destroy future cap space and probably wouldn't put us over the top as far as challenging for something meaningful. I just don't feel this team is there yet, so here I'm willing to be patient unless something big fell into our laps that really made sense...I am in favor, however, of making a couple of calculated smaller/cost-effective moves to get better and alleviate some of the roster congestion.
