![]() I watch this breakdown......man you see why so many teams don't run this offense, your big men can't be offensively challenged.... is Dally or Brags or Stat capable of running this???

![]() THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

![]() drk3351 is my hero! the #4 option (the corner pickn roll) is the most important option. i notice that they ran that amillion times vs the Dleague stars last night. but against the hornets they ran option 2. i think what fisher is doing is trying to run certain plays just so they can work on them. this is an EXCELLENT review of the offense...great job
basically by having the guard cut to the corner...they form a box set to overload one side. the weakside can play a 2 man PICKNROLL game or back cuts Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. ![]() Nice vid. If you have skilled bigs I think they should work in the low post more often but if you have skilled guards high post sets can be effective in working off pick and rolls. Melo has a unique skill set with his faceup game so he can do either. I think he might be better down low but he seems to favor the perimeter/high post.

![]() Absolutely great video....I don't think guys understand what it is to run an offense. When I hear guys talking they are just talking off of the past or what individual things they think guys can or can't do. The triangle is the blueprint for getting a team completely involved in the game. These summer league kids are putting on a clinic on how to do it with such a short amount of time. They were getting blown out in the last game at first, but stuck with it and eventually blew out the d league select team.
If guys buy in and just run the offense no matter what, the knocks are going to be really good next season Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

I try to treat my team like actual basketball players. They were 4th grade last year and I had them playing the Duke Spread Offense against zone defense. Against man-to-man I basically called out set plays on every time down. A lot of PnR and back door cuts. They really picked it up well. We went undefeated against same grade competition. We beat most of the teams by 15+ points. In the next level, I want to teach them a more fluid offense. Thought a lot about triangle and wanted to experiment with it. Probably going with just 2 options for now but I can't wait. These are great boys that really want to learn. Our defense was also really good. My team is the only team in the league that actually got the help defense concept down pat. I also entered my team in one 5th grade tournament and we got killed. The 4th grade level did not allow full court press so did not have time to practice it. When the other teams figured it out, we were done. Lost by a lot. We played 2 games vs 5th grade teams. One against the top team in our county. That coach was pressing us even when they were up by 20. |

![]() GREAT work on this video. It's very much appreciated. I'm so happy I can hardly contain my joy watching this team finally play REAL BB. Not that make it up, no thinking ISO crap. This is how you win games as a team. LITERALLY EVERYONE is involved. No one can be lazy.
This is gonna totally change a player like Bargs. He was often overlooked last year and you could see him fading. same for Shump, STAT etc. Melo should shine in this offense. He's got all the skills needed. More importantly all your Role players know what's going on and are engaged in the play rather than just standing around watching Melo or JR. This is what we've all been wanting to see. This is why I bashed Woody so much last year. His offense featured almost no real team buy in. Last year players were bumping into each other or getting in the space of a player trying to score. They often didn't know the plays or what to do in a given situation and couldn't figure out defenses. This offense gives this team a chance to execute at a high level the more they master the offense the better they'll get. This is what we've been waiting for all these years. |

![]() Great stuff, we really have the type of players that will absolutely shine in this offense, if amare and and bargi stay healthy, one is bound to be comeback player of the yr.
BTW, fisher has this yutes playing defense like a real damn team, on offense, i saw more fast breaks in this summer league, than i have seen from woody in 2 seasons ES

![]() So THIS is why we are putting most of our eggs in the Marc Gasol basket. Not only is he a great defensive player, but a good low post offensive option with a shot, spin move and a good passer. In this system, I can understand how somebody like him would take this team to a whole new level.
If our main young players (Hardaway Jr., Aldrich, Early, Larkin and Tyler) can prove they belong in the pro level this season and elevate their game at the end of the season, I can see how signing Gasol can be a power move to make us contenders in 2015. It is amazing how efficiently the young players are running this system already. It isn't exactly the easiest to pick up only a few days before playing a tournament, but they have. Nice job, fellas. ![]() Hey guys, glad you enjoyed the video and learned from it. And I just want the emphasize, all these clips were from one, ten minute quarter summer league game. Shows the potential of it. I think Larkin will benefit from it and become a legit backup PG. Melo fits well, and J.R too I think will find a role.
And in terms of the guy who wants to run it with a 5th grade team, it can be done. BUT it would take a lot of practice time to teach it all and the reads. And usually practice at that level is only once or twice a week right? |

![]() This is all i've been wanting to see this team do since we got Melo. Put the team in a system that enhances the skills of the players we have. This is the kind of foundation that is needed to build a title contender on. You start with a Team Oriented base offense and hustle with good technique on D. That's what i've seen from the SL team so far and it should carry over to the big team as well. Melo and JR fit into great roles in this system and our bigs are at the very least capable of the basic functions in the Triangle. This should help this teams chances of winning the Atlantic.
