I posted it was on and then only caught part of it. It started with talk about Melo and then Fisher talked about team goals, hard work and putting team and team goals above individuals. Hopefully someone else heard it and give a better recap.

A playoff seed and a first round win would be a great success for the team.

Or......

Tank and get the draft pick to redefine the franchise!

Most likely scenario is something in bewteen.

The Knicks can be a very good team if:
* team embraces the triangle - creating less reliance on (most) individual's talents and more on executing a system
* Anthony continues to be a strong one-on-one bail out player - no mistaking that he's a talent that few other teams have.

The more iffy if's are:
* JR Smith returns to prior year's form... or at least to career form.
* Amare is able to stay healthy and play 30mpg
* Prigioni & Calderon stay reasonably healthy (but hey, we have nice insurance with Larkin)
* Bargnani is able to stay healthy and recover some of the confidence he had years ago playing with Calderon. And of course, if the system basketball really work in his favor
* Dalembert & Aldrich are in aggregate more effective than the diminished Chandler
* Shumpert takes to system basketball, understands what he's supposed to do on offense and puts up career scoring & efficiency numbers
* Jeremy Tyler takes a step forward. Looks like he's already starting to look for teammates in ways he never did last eyar.

Just a suggestion...

Can't you download the ESPN radio app for your phone and listen at work? My company blocked the streaming sites on work PC's/Wi-fi (espn radio, sirius, etc) but I'll plug my cpu speakers into my phone and stream/listen from there. I also still have unlimited data from AT&T and they will have to pry it out of my cold dead hands.

Good call but I'm on the phone a lot and it's an open desk. Think trading desk. Nobody cares if I surf but espn radio wouldn't fly

When I listen to Phil I am engulfed. Not everyone is a good interview. Jeter was/is an awful interview.

The interview started with stuff about carmelo which I find boring. I was hoping it would at least be in part about the summer league experience. Greenberg is generally really good when he interviews bball guys. I didnt think that was the case today.

Yea I dunno why Phil has me hooked too, but he does ... Every word he says I just find to be so compelling
