He'll eventually make a deal for a big, but it's hard to say just now who he will look to move. How aggressive will he be in terms of moving an asset for a good big or a just a fill in guy for a lesser Knick asset.

as complimentary players, especially if we can somehow upgrade a PG/SG to push the tempo with Calderon

Both Green and Barnes are DEFENSIVE G/F's that can stretch the floor and play a vital defensive role, helping the development of our youngsters with veterans and locker room presence as well

Poppavich did resurrect D LEAGUE talents throughout his career, most recently

Danny Green
Gary Neal
Patty Mills

Iman would benefit playing with a TEAM that actually plays with a strong TEAM DEFENSE, in addition to lock down defenders in Kawaii Leonard and Duncan
Add in Tony Parker/Ginobili who can create/facilitate, it would hide Iman's weakness's and utilize his strength and fit

Pablo is also good friends with Manu and Mills is out for awhile

Too many shooting guards. You can't have 5 shooting guards on your roster. I think we end up cutting Brown and Ellington

Ok, but why do they give up Green who already does all that plus is one of the best 3 point gunners in the league? Green is also signed to a great contract while shump is due to get a new contract. Seems counterproductive to get rid of him only to start a new reclamation project.

Yes, they don't want Wiggins from CLE, or a handful of high 1st rounders from Boston, or Klay Thompson from GS. No, Minny wants JR and Bargs for their 25 year old 25/12 Power forward. Umm, yeah.
