OK. Just bored and want to fix the Knicks.

1.
We get some live bodies in here and youth. Seems a lot to give up but Miles and Woods gives us a future (or at least trading pawns)
New York trades: SG Allan Houston (18.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 36.0 minutes)
C Kurt Thomas (11.1 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.9 minutes)
PG Moochie Norris (3.5 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.8 apg in 12.8 minutes)
PF Mike Sweetney (4.3 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 0.3 apg in 11.8 minutes)
New York receives: PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (16.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.0 apg in 31.6 minutes)
C Theo Ratliff (7.9 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 0.8 apg in 31.3 minutes)
SF Darius Miles (10.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.0 apg in 26.3 minutes)
SF Qyntel Woods (3.6 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.7 apg in 10.8 minutes)
TRADE ACCEPTED
Trade ID number 1614929

2.
We get a replacement for H2O.
New York trades: SF Tim Thomas (14.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.6 minutes)
PF Othella Harrington (4.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 15.6 minutes)
New York receives: SG Ray Allen (23.0 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 4.8 apg in 38.4 minutes)
TRADE ACCEPTED
Trade ID number 1614919

3.
Chris Wilcox will be our PF of the future.
New York trades: C Cezary Trybanski (0.1 ppg, 0.1 rpg, 0.0 apg in 2.1 minutes)
PG Frank Williams (3.9 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.2 apg in 12.8 minutes)
New York receives: PF Chris Wilcox (8.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 0.8 apg in 20.6 minutes)
TRADE ACCEPTED
Trade ID number 1614933

4.
Split the MLE to sign Chris Andersen and Rodney White.

5.
Draft Sato in the 2nd round.

NYK Lineup
Starters
C-Ratliff
PF-Rahim
SF-Miles
SG-Ray Allen
PF-Starbury

Bench
C-Nazr, Deke
PF-Wilcox, Chris Andersen
SF-Woods, DeMarr
SG-Sato, White, Shandon
PG-Penny

We have a 3 guard rotation of Starbury, Allen and Penny. We would have some bigs that can run and some bigs that can play the halfcourt game.

Isiah, please make this happen.

Why would Portland do the first trade? Ratliff was absolutely unreal playing with them, and Miles turned around his game. Why do they want Mike Sweetney? Plus they'd have two broken down and VERY expensive 2guards in Anderson and Houston.

Why does Seattle do the second trade? They have Rashard Lewis maxed out I believe to play 3, now they're going to bring in a backup and trade their best scorer/shooting guard.

I like the Clips trade, but that won't happen if they draft a PG (which probably will happen since it's the one position they need.)

Rodney White disappeared in the playoffs, which I didn't like, and he'll probably sign with Charlotte since he can start with them, it's his hometown, and they'll offer him more.

I like Chris Andersen.

I'd rather have Andre Emmett or Chris Duhon over Romain Sato.

It seems very to highly ridiculous. I'm gonna go BRIGGS on this and say it has a 0.0000000000000000000000000000001% chance of happening.

the only thing on that list that i think might happen is the signing Chris Anderson or Rodney White part...you can't split the MLE to sign 2 players btw...you can only use a part of it to sign 1 if you don't want to use the full MLE.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

You really think Houston is done? Only reason I want to trade H2O is to get some new blood in here. They want to get rid of Rahim and they are getting value with H2O, KT and Sweetney. I don't think they will miss Miles. If they don't like that trade, replace Ratliff with Dale Davis. It still works. I would definitely try to see if you can get Ratliff first before going to Davis. A line-up of C-Ratliff or D.Davis, PF-Z Randolph, SF-Ruben Patterson, SG-H2O, PG-Mighty Mouse with a bench of KT, Sweetney, Moochie, Anderson, Outlaw, Dickau is a lot better than what they have this season.

Seattle is going to lose Ray Allen. They need to get something in return. TT and Othella gives them talent and expiring contract.

I think you are right with Rodney White.

Don't know much about Emmett, but Duhon over Sato? Really? I don't know. We need some freaks that can fly and Sato fits that bill.

It seems very to highly ridiculous. I'm gonna go BRIGGS on this and say it has a 0.0000000000000000000000000000001% chance of happening. Dude. It's a fantasy trade. I want to thank you for the 0.0000000000000000000000000000001% chance though. To quote a film masterpiece, "I still have a chance!"

Portland ain't doing any trades....at least not with NY....you got them giving up 2 starters. Theo fits in too well with the way they play. Portland could trade Shareef for Eddie Jones.....wow! that would be nice. I think Eddie would fit in nicely.

Why would they trade Ray Allen for Tim Thomas? Seattle already has Radmonovic and Rashard to play the 3.

Ray Allen was born to play in NY though....too bad that would never happen. Maybe if the Knicks do a 3 way in some type of miricle trade. Ray Allen in MSG next to Marbury would just be insane.

I don't know why Seattle is going to lose Ray Allen? Teams don't just trade great players for bad ones "just because." Let's not base fantasy trades on such premises.

If you gave up KT, Moochie, and Sweetney and got Abdur-Rahim, Davis, and Miles I think that's at least realistic. Ratliff was awesome for them, thats all I'm saying.

I'd take Duhon over Sato if they planned on trading Frank Williams. If you want a guy who can fly I'd prefer Rickey Paulding from Mizzou.

I don't understand the whole super fantasy trade thing. Shaq, Kobe, Payton, Kareem Rush, and the Mailman for Houston, Penny, SAnderson, Mutumbo, Norris, and Trybanski works under the CBA, I doubt it'll happen though. It would give the Knicks a lineup of Marbury, Kobe, TT, Malone, Shaq! What a team! I just don't see in making threads like NYK/LA trade and writing all that. Whatever, I'll avoid all fantasy trades from now on. Ahah, and I'm sorry, this sounds like a rant against you NYKBocker, and it's not, some of your deals were realistic, I just check a lot of boards and sometimes idiots write stuff like the LA trade and I wonder why people write such things.
