Melo has always had trouble defending shooters, a problem at SF, someone like Kyle Korver could light him up as a role player
He does have great strength, decent athleticism though not great, and lacks speed/quickness
Is Melo a SF or PF? Does it make a difference? It depends mainly on our match up and the rest of our lineups
I think Melo needs a versatile SF/PF to compliment him, like a YOUNG Marion though Marion could be attainable as a UFA
Would have loved James Johnson for his bang for the buck considering his age/size/length, though Jeff Adrien isn't as proven he has good upside
Preferably, we need LOCK DOWN defenders in the PG/SG/ SF/PF position *depending on which position Melo plays*, our C rotation is adequate in my opinion
In addition to a mobile athletic PF/C rotation
Dalembert
Cole Alrich
Bargnani played very well at Center last season, though needs a very good rebounding/shot blocking/mobile athletic PF to compliment him
Jeremy Tyler *like JR Smith, he has all the tools/potential to be a good player, was disappointed he did not come in to Summer League in supreme condition considering that was one of his problems with work ethic in the past, with Phil Jackson in town and a non guaranteed contract
