Briggs does not add to conversations, he starts them..........

His threads don't have points, they are conclusions.........

He does not identify prospects, he elevates them.

Ignore button can't be used, because he can't be.........

Well, by definition, a throw-in is something that isn't valued.
What's the new culture? "We'll grab a few 2nd round picks to make fans think we care about the long-term"?
I'm not saying these are useless but you shouldn't expect them to amount to anything.

I agree with this...as I said I would be surprised to see any of these guys on this roster in a couple of years.. maybe one or two if we are lucky..

I think the core of the trade was Jose and Dalembart for Tyson and Felton. We were able to add 2 second rounders and a 1st round PG to make the salaries work and we executed those 2nd rounders(throw ins) to what I believe will be core NYK players for a long time. We WERE the team giving the throw in picks and now not only did we get them--but I think we executed nicely on them. These three players will help form a new core --they are all cerebral top notch athletes with diversified skilled games.

Isn't this schizophrenia?

People talk about how they can't wait to rebuild. They hype draft picks no matter the quality of the draft. They even get angry about trading 2nd round picks. All they talk is about getting assets.

Now threads are made simply to state (and/or discuss?) how a young player taken in the first round last draft, a guy that was expected to go in the first round but we drafted in the 2nd round and another decent prospect are just fill ins?

Really?

Madness

No dude. I just said we were the one's who usually give the "throw in's" and that this time we not only were on the opposite side of the ball--I think we got some nice pieces that should help fill a new core of athletic cerebral players

Now that makes sense. Considering my confusion and others, I think this point wasn't clearly made.

But yes, its a welcome change that we aren't getting fleeced anymore and we are actually collecting assets.

Nalod, while you do have some point about some of Brigg's posts, almost seems like he has a bit of dementia at times...
Out of all people talking about making POINTLESS post, you rank up there
Another one that has some qualities that you have mentioned, Misterearl's threads have some similar atributes

For the most part, I for value Brigg's opinion on the board here, even if times I may not agree with them, I think many here do as well
He simply isn't anywhere even remotely close to the "ignore button"
Does Brigg's always get a way from making his own posts, when there are others with similar points, YES, but for the most part, IT STICKS WITH BASKETBALL...

I think Early is at minimum a rotation guy in the NBA. Not a star but solid. Has a good work ethic by all accounts and would probably be a mid to late 1st round pick in a weaker draft. Just my opinion but I don't think he is a typical 2nd round pick.

NIce Article on Early. I absolutely LOVE the Early pick. I think he's gonna be the steal of the draft. He's way better than I think most Knick fans realize. I think Larkin is gonna surprise a lot of Knick Fans too. Thanasis may not be ready yet but i like his upside. Put together with THJ and our other young talent I think we've got a nice group of young players to develop a new core. Phil has given us new life.
So for Tyson Chandler and Felton we got 3 throw ins
