Nice video, showing how "potential", a winning culture, leadership, a strong philosophy/team play, strong CORE, and more importantly how a ROLE player's development

Young ROLE players, even playing as the last option of the team, can have huge impacts and if developed properly be a big part of the future of a franchise

Something all of our G/F's should look, learn/understand, and follow/mimic along our coaching/development/training staff
Leonard has grown much the past 2 years, there are things that you can LEARN and get better in, as he just did that
He deserving grew confidence and developed his game, becoming a BIG reason to why they won and have improved the past 2years, with San Antonio likely to always be one of the most efficient teams in the NBA
Growing to become the MVP of the finals, while once just a "ROLE PLAYER" showing why HOME GROWN TALENT, DEVELOPMENT, WORK ETHIC, and PLAYING a SYSTEM that is unselfish looking to make each other better has a multiplying effect/affect on each other

Is it too late for Iman and JR Smith?

Well, we still have

Tim Hardway JR
Thanasis Antetokounmpo
Cleanthony Early

With Undrafted Rookies
Continued developments projects like

Jeremy Tyler

James Johnson/Devin Ebanks
Jamalle Haggins/Jack Cooley

Darius Morris/Tourre Murry

I read some where that Early compares himself to Kawhi.

During the finals Parker took Leonard aside when he was struggling, right after he got an earful from Pops, and gave him some advice. Kawhi has a great support system in place in addition to a great coach. The end result is one of the youngest finals MVPs ever.

I saw that. Both Early and Kawahi were compared to Wallace prior to being drafted

No mention of Reezy? Kawhi is a hell of player and on a different trajectory that anyone mentioned but I remember Reezy as having a great nose for the ball, explosive lift and was very raw with a good motor.

No MVP, but Reezy got a ring!

You know, I was thinking this exact same comparison this morning. What do you guys think of this? There are definitely some similarities here between the 2...

Kawhi is a unique player with unique physical attributes. He works hard and has an an effective and well rounded game. he is a great athlete, has huge hands and long arms. His game is rounding out nicely. hard work does pay off..

Yeah, most definitely. The best thing that happened to his career was going to LA and getting his head handed to him everyday by Kobe. It showed him how hard he needed to work.
