The only chance they have is if they blow Gordon away with a near max deal? That still might not be enough to scare Utah away. Hayward at $10M per sounds about right. Anything more than that is overpaying. That said, I'm pretty sure Hayward is going to score at least $12M per.

Funny. Feinagen tweeted a picture of Melo's limo leaving the Rockets meeting. I wonder if this means that they are going to reconvene at a later time.

I read they were proposing a big 5 to him- harden, Dwight, Melo, parsons and another, most likely Lowry. No idea how they'd pull that off, but it would be a disaster for us.

Its about selling tickets also.

Who is worth the max anyway? Seems the real Max guys are the ones taking pay cuts.

well he is going to be held to his word by jackson about accepting less from the knicks and that is crucial. but you're right he is quite content to pay lip service to winning, changing, doing whatever it takes, etc etc.
