I read it in the Herring article. I never got the feel they were close but trust and friendship is two different things. Their lockers where side by side and Tyson did say the Olympics help them get more familiar with each other but who knows.

I didnt hear that either. I read Phil didnt want to comment on the possibility of a S & T, but I am sure he would do that if it helps the team getting back some talent.

I agree. Tyson was a quitter and a problem in the locker room. It is amazing that he is still seen as a guy with tremendous character and a stabilizer for a locker room. My guess is he has a pretty good year as it is the final year of his contract. I don't think he will miss six games down the stretch for mysterious personal reasons.

considering the clusterfrick of the last 3 seasons i am sure he is relieved to have been traded. if he comes back it will be because he is on a better team with healthy leadership and real coaching.
