It's not something tangible but he connects Calderon as a reason Marc Gasol would come to the Knicks in 2015.

Marc Gasol would be fantastic in the triangle no doubt.

I would say this 2015 class is seriously limited....Rondo isn't leaving Boston and I bet Love ends up with him in Boston. LaMarcus Aldridge is not coming here and do we even want him?

So this could be our real target. We already have a hole at center after this season when Dalembert expires and he might get flipped to another team before the draft anyway.

Food for thought

I said it before Love going to Cali. Aldridge staying in Portland & that Marc Gasol is the 2015 guy I want. Not the sexy expensive pick but can have a huge impact like What Noah is for the bulls

I'd be down with Marc Gasol, but only if Melo re- signs. That squad can do some damage.

Screw 2015 if we can seriously compete. That squad, with addirional backcourt defenders, can contend.

Should have a deep bench if we draft right and use our assets to keep the vets minutes down.

Marc Gasol is BIG and SLOW, for his next contract, unless he has a diet and strict work out he could enter the Sabonis like speed

Now you are talking about adding Pau Gasol at starting PF, he is simply too slow to begin with, he is best utilized at C for many years where he has the ability to spread the floor, facilitate, post up, and hit a jump shot, while losing all these abilities with the inability to defend the PF position with his next contract as he continues to get older/decline

D12/Gasol along with Laker's were horrible for a reason
Even with a Healthy and productive Kobe, they were HORRIBLE,

Gasol/Bynum combo and a healthy Kobe, they were still horrible, though Bynum and Gasol were declining much already in addition to Odom who was a big part of the OFF and DEFENSE along with Gasol at C for versatility

Anyone else wondering if Odom has been in the gym in NYK working hard on his comeback or still doing crack/cocaine and not utilizing this opportunity that Phil Jackson has given him to get back his life
Even if Odom no longer is NBA player, I hope he fixes his life and has a role as a person, hopefully even a future development coach or assistant like Luke Walton has done
Luke Walton's versatility along with Trevor Ariza, in addition to Odom and Gasol's versatilities were a big part of the triangle, along with the scoring of Kobe Bryant and even Shannon Brown off the bench for a couple of years, however, with such teams, you only get a couple of years to actually contend vs the ability to possibly build a dynasty

along with the production/shooting of the PG's in the triangle of Fisher/Farmer/Vucuvic
