Trade Melo to LA to join Lebron for Kobe who I believe expires after 2015, Nash & 2014 #7 pick. Trade Tyson for picks
Bargnani expires
Nash expires
Resign Amare - discount
Resign Kobe - discount
2014 #7 pick
2015 1st rd pick
Sign Durant for picks & young players. Durant loves Fisher. Durant is not Lebron but he is younger

That is how you build a team with some foresight. Kobe was unhappy with lakers management for not netting Phil. Now he can join Phil & Fisher here! He loves playing in the Garden. Perfect end to a stories career! Lakers must move Kobe to sign both Lebron & Melo. Brian Whinehorst is an idiot for thinking the lakers could keep Kobe!

Even if we don't get Durant we have to a of options with picks and young players

why would kobe agree to this deal? why do you think he'd agree to play for the knicks? he's been a laker his whole life.. he's not goin anywhere.

Lakers gave Kobe his money. I don't think there would be any animosity from Kobe towards the Lakers. Jordan ended his career in Washington. Kobe is not going to Atlanta or Milwaukee. He'd be coming to the Garden to join Phil & Fisher

I'm getting tired of hearing about trade scenarios with the same names. Melo, Durant, LeBron and Kobe. Can't we just get past this and build a team of no names that become names later on. I understand the need to get names because it instantly make the team better. But there are only a few of these players and you know LeBron is going back to Miami, Kobe is Laker for life. Durant is completely comfortable being Ina small town and they can offer the most money. Melo when all said and done will still be here because of money offered only way I see Melo going is S&T and only because Phil may want it that way.

I'm completely comfortable getting picks for him and expiring contracts. Keep cap space to add players who a good.

phil isn't coaching, kobe wouldnt even see him on a day to day basis. kobe isn't coming here, neither is lebron. i know its fun to think about, but realistically, it's just not happening. theres a much better chance of melo joining kobe in LA.

ha ha ha i have looked at the stream of tweets and whatnot-- jackson is driving this relationship and dictating terms. you are delusional. knicks win, melo leaves and loses, hated forever by new york city. this is what he will have reaped. i'm happy that justice is served.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
