Since Melo opted out, I am very close to opt back in. Meaning watching my Knicks though thick and thin again. Watching every game. The wife will not be happy.

My guess is that Wade is the only one who doesn't opt out.

Nah, if we get a late first round pick, it doesn't matter how many games we lose, we'll enjoy rooting for PJ Hairston and overate him all year. Then, we'll throw him to the curb next year when the new flavor of the year arrives during next years draft. Cap space and potential is all that matters....who gives a S%&* about winning with players that we didn't draft or do not like for some odd reason

I doubt Bosh will do that If he wants to stay in Miami.

I'm not so sure Bosh wants to stay. He and LeBron didn't seem to be on the same page during the finals, on or off the court. Might be nothing but you never know. Bosh has 2 rings, so he might feel that's enough and looks to get paid, and looks for a larger role on another team. Guess we will find out soon enough.

I would think They are holed up with Riles going over the options.

For example, Wade has two years left and likely he is cooked by then, or he can get the same money over three years? Stuff like that. Bosh likely needs this pay day. Not sure about his finances but he owns a bit of high price non income producing real estate. That eats capital like crazy! Dallas can make a play for him, and its his home town.

At the same time, the MeloMeetings with Knicks also laid out his options and I would not be suprised if many of the teams have not been hammering this stuff outside the media. We do know GS and Minny are in talks, but the rest is very quiet.

This is where Dolan has screwed up. He should have gone the Donald Sterling route and just kept cap space and drafted young athletes every year and let them go when it was time to pay them. I mean that's all Knicks fans want to see, young guys with potential and some highlight dunks. When we suck we can fantasize about winning the lottery which will keep the fans on the hook.

He would have made a killing going that route only having a 50 mil pay roll every yr.
