He has just said recently that he wouldn't go to LA becuase it was too big of a city. He siad that he was a country boy and liked small towns. Based on those comments it doesn't look like he would want to sign with NY after a trade.

T-Mac just made his list of teams LA and San Antonio is on the list. So much for being a small town boy. NYK needs to get into this list badly.

i posted here before that he said the same thing when he was asked about the knicks.
then again, it would be nice to be on that list even if it's just to know that we can have him. maybe that's just a guy thing.
