Good point. Joe also had some successful seasons in college before he wave drafted. The one thing Lavine has going for him that Alexander didn't is that he has a position. Joe was a tweener who had a tough time adjusting to playing the three or four. I think Lavine is a legit shooting guard, but GMs will be disappointed if they try to make him a fulltime point guard. Jamal Crawford is abdecent comparison for Lavine.

This isnt Joe Alexander--he could be a version of a young Gerlad Green right now. He really couldve used one more year in school but I think this is more like a super athletic Klay Thompson. Hes no PG--I have no idea why they list that. He can bring the ball up and with the long arms the athleticism the jumpshot--there is a lot of things this kid can do. I think he needs 15 hard pounds. He needs to rebound the ball play hard both ends and tighten a nd expand his handle. I think if he goes to the right team he may surprise but will also disappear.
