this coming season will be tough. Melo may be gone. We still must play to will. I don't think the Knicks will throw the season away. Realistically I will be happy if we have a coach to take this team to 45 wins and Stat staying healthy. We don't have many choices so we need coaches to take the team to a level that Woodson could not do.

We should be able to make the trade for Melo happen and the trade for Tyson. They're both players who should be able to bring back something in terms of talent or picks. This would go a long way towards the rebuild of the franchise.

Personally, I go for the let Melo walk scenario, even if that means Phil Jackson getting fired, because we need to clear as much as possible and start over from scratch. There is too much fat and rubble on this roster to keep him and be a contender. I don't see any other realistic way we can keep him and win unless LeBron starts smoking crack and meth and joins us next Summer.

Let him walk, blow it up, stink it up, rebuild. I'd rather watch some young kids play hard and suck than watch overpaid washed up veterans stink up the joint at this point.
