I know I sound ridiculous mentioning this, but what if Sterling vs NBA lawsuit happens and is known to drag on for years and Doc Rivers gets fed up with working for a racist and quits/breach his contract? Think there's a chance he can be our coach next year? Ok, I should put the pipe down I guess...

Without Phil Doc would be a dream come true, with Phil it's a recipe for disaster. Doc will not be a puppet, he's too smart and experienced to be Phil's middleman. All hiring Doc would do is create chances for conflict between two distinct coaching philosophies.
