Reportedly one of the issues with the warriors was that MJax didn't want to relocate to the bay area.

if these guys wanna coach or get the chance to, they will go to what many might consider places they wouldnt live. jackson went to gs, were gs fans crying cuz hes from ny (i have no idea if they did)? jackson seemed like he wanted to stay, is that a slight to ny by him (i dont think it is)?

I’ve heard that he occasionally referred to individuals he didn’t like as “the devil.” And I found it weird to be sitting in a press conference next to a young woman who kept trying to get Jackson’s attention by calling him “pastor.”

Apparently winning didnt matter or maybe the management felt he didnt win them enough and wasnt 100% vested in the warriors.

Perhaps all coaches should be asked where their heart is before accepting a position. How do you propose testing that? Is NYC not lovable itself to find its own mark?

larry brown, nyc... won natty in ncaa, nba title. crap happens when you work for the knicks, even for home grown guys. is kerr going to melt from media heat? given his history of dealing with some really bad stuff in public, i would say no.
