Here is a blurb from SportVU, "no Heat player averaged a faster speed (4.3 miles per hour) than Allen did on Thursday"

The guy is almost 39 years old and hes running faster than anyone on the court. I know first hand Ray has some kind of special diet he uses--hes been really durable in his whole career and he was a high flyer at the beginning have to find out what he eats!!!

RIP Crushalot😞

look at Danny Green last year but he has virtually done NOTHING the entire year this season
In the end, you need talent and skill sets to be able to run a effective system, hitting the person that is open or in rhythm
With the proper spacing, ball movement, player movement, use off picks on and off the ball, and ATTACKING a team as a whole, Novak can look like a STAR at times, just like Danny Green was on fire for most of last years post season minus game 7

Playing with the right FIT system, coach/philosophy, with the right talents on the floor, and sacrificing for WINS

Same thing for players like Marco Belinelli, Boris Diaw, even Tiago Splitter, Norris Cole/Chalmers, Matt Barnes, Collison, and many other players that can have HUGE games at times and virtually NOTHING on other days

In the end, those guys are role players but are also important but they play off the abilities of other players in a SYSTEM
That is also why you cannot measure talent with success, if so, Eli Manning > Peyton Manning

Looking at other teams and players, look at the roles of players like Gereld Green (from Net's to Indiana to Sun's), Plumlee (Indiana to Sun's), Courtney Lee (from Houston to Boston to Memphis)
Just look at their bottoms and lows versus their highs, if they didn't play or barely played, it doesn't mean they suck
Well when those players do play with a team that FITS their style/roles they are complete steals, especially Gereld Green and Plumlee, considering they got 2 1st round picks for proven veteran in Scola

Green is the same player, the expectations for him just rose because of his playoff games last year. I agree that having a system implemented with proper fundamentals is huge where players understand their strengths and play to them and understand their roles etc.
