More importantly, these moves would have put ourselves with some role players we could continue to keep/develop on CHEAP CONTRACTS, so we can utilize the $$ for chasing ALL STAR's in 2015
First of, we could have saved our MINI MLE, instead of using it on both Pablo and MWP
Instead of using 3 picks for AB, we could have just resigned Chris Copeland, who is by far the better 3pt shooter, or use it on another talent, even splitting it for some of these players below, as we had leverage on them even with TEAM OPTIONS for 3 year deals instead of only a 2 year deal like Anthony Randolph was signed last year to a 3 year 6m deal and when Reggie Evan's was signed to a 3 year 5m deal in the past seasons
Those picks could have been used as a quick rebuild for 2015 (Kevin Love/LA, Dragic, possibly Lebron to 2016/17 (where Durant/Noah could be available)
It was obvious we needed an upgrade in the PG position and even SF/PF position, with only Melo and MWP as F's, next after is Kmart
These guys were available while we had Chris Smith, Tourre Murry, MWP, Udrih
While Pablo has the correct pass first PG abilities, he misses the speed/quickness to penetrate/finish and lacks the ability to be a threat on OFF, much like Tyson Chandler
Both Felton and Pablo are both G's that cannot defend the PG or ANY position, that should be on any teams bench
While we kept playing 2 SG's, while one was playing SF, it was another mismatch on top of our
PG NO ONE could defend, end of story
SG Being our best defensive position but with Woodson's "BROKEN DEF PHILOSOPHY", the SG must help and switch at all times
SF either MELO or a SG, which had trouble defending SF
PF Yes, Melo is better at the PF than SF, but we never had a legit SF to compliment him, or a PF outside of Kmart that fitted
and
C (Tyson doesn't have the speed/mobility/athleticism to help but he must help at the same time because our 1v1 defense was that poor)
It was obvious to me that Tyson should have came of the bench, as literally anyone from AB, Kmart, STAT, Jeremy Tyler, and Cole Alrich would have been better fits with their mobility, athleticism, need to play HELP DEF, and all would have been much greater threats on the OFF end, especially with AB, STAT, and even Tyler/Alrich
So having, 2 or possibly all of these players, even with our horrible system/philosophy of Woodson, I believe we would have still been in the post season
Now, if you would have all of these players, a change of our COACH, everything gets multiplied % from this season, and our NYK's future with the 3 picks traded for AB
1- DJ Augustine and/or Kendall Marshall
and
2- James Johnson
ALL OF THESE PLAYERS were available in the start to early/mid parts of the season, when we still struggling, as they are all 1st round young talents available and were low risk/high reward, could be kept as our future continued development players on a cheap deal with team options like Jeremy Tyler was

3/4 On top of all of this, not trading Tyson and Iman for the "rumored deals" and letting CA test free agency, knowing he will likely leave with his comments...
"I would take a pay cut if the Knick's can add talent, not willing to wait till 2015, and fully intends to opt out"
Well, we cannot add any type of significant talent with our roster this summer, so those words are already saying he will likely leave
