Ive done the Tough Mudder in 2012 and the super sparta in 2013. Just relax and have fub. Hydrate that day. Make sure in your decent running shape. You should be able to run 10 miles wuthout stopping. But these things are about having fun mostly.

@ IronWillGiroud My race is June 28th

@ izybx thanks for the advice....I have been doing intervals of the row machine, bike and treadmill and lots of pullups. So I hope that will help me just enough not to die at the race lol.

that's what you've been doing to prepare??

pull ups are cool, but you should really be under a bar with some heavy weight

I think thats a solid training plan. I wouldnt do too many training runs over 5 miles to avoid injury. Last thing you want is knee tendinosis running down hills. Im sure youll do just fine, like I said before the main thing is to have fun. You dont need to be in amazing shape to finish, just good shape. Im sure youll do just fine.

Which sparta is this?

Do you really h
ave a Shaw Brothers connection or were you kidding?

I'd like to get into those vaults! ;)

Good luck with your training

I'd train at Shaolin if I were you - the one on the Shaw Brothers lot!

(Right where Fu Sheng kneeled with Farnkie Wei & Chi Kuan Chun!)
