My first Knick live game Memory was in the 1970-71 sesaon was a game where Pete Maravich was making his pro debut in the garden.
The only thing I recall was Walt Belamy outlet pass to Lou Hudson who was standing at the half court line, Lou recieved the pass and with his back to the basket bounced a no look two handed pass threw his legs to a streaking Pistol Pete who was running to the basket for an easy two. The garden roared even thought it was the other team. Clyde was caught off guard and embarassed, but was cool.
Don't remember who won the game, but I remember Sweet Lou was the leading scorer and made the game look easy.
North Carolina Native Sweet Lou died today.

See Sweet lou hang 33, Pistol Pete, Walt Belamy, and Connie Hawkins on the court. Keith Jackson calls teh game. Half time highlight reel of the Pistol is enjoyable.
