Even though i love Spree, i would do this trade too. Unfortunately, this deal comes from the creative minds of realgm and is nothing near a rumor.

right, in no way would I do this if I were the Bucks. Then you would start an undersized Mason at PF and an undersized Spree at SF. That's what the knicks have.

No, we don't need another player with no heart. Anyone who gets chumped by RonRon (Artest) can't play here. No way RonRon would ever throw a punch at Spree... Are you even kidding me? No players in the League respect Glenn Robinson. All the scrubs on Orlandough during last years playoffs were calling him "little dog" - and all the players were scrubs last year on Orlandough except for McGrady. Mike Miller was a rookie, and Grant Hill is overrated and on the injured list.

Off topic, but involves latest rumor from Bergen Records...

KNICKS QUICKS: The Knicks, who have inquired recently about the availability of center Raef LaFrentz, had similar discussions with the Nuggets last season. According to a Denver source, the Nuggets were interested in Thomas. …

If they're still interested we're in luck.

Actually if it were AH for Robinson I'd be all for it. He's still 27 and has quite a very good game, maybe if AH were traded instead this would be THE trade that would keep Layden around longer (do we actually want that?). I do however agree with Realgm that this trade will never happen since the senator who owns the club wouldn't touch Spree with a 10' pole.

Milwaukee trades: Glenn Robinson ,Jason Caffey TOTAL: $13,802,500

New York trades: Allan Houston ,Travis Knight TOTAL: $16,350,000

TRAVESTY ACCEPTED

Milwaukee had to use $3,600,000 of their $5,059,320 trade exception in order for this trade to go through. Milwaukee has $1,459,320 left of their previous trade exception to use in another trade.

Of course this won't happen, trading a SF for a SG only happens in NYC. Knight however has become slightly tradeable and the time to trade him is soon as he'll be buried on the bench when Spoon comes back if JVG is like his old self. While I'm at it with lobsided deals, this works even better for us..

Milwaukee trades: Glenn Robinson TOTAL: $8,990,000

New York trades: Charlie Ward ,Kurt Thomas TOTAL: $9,523,375

TRADE ACCEPTED

New York would also receive a trade exception of $533,375 with this trade. This would have to be used within one calendar year from the date of this trade.

Karl wants D? We'll give him chollie to back up Cassell

ps.Andrew, Martin what's the max amount of space to be used in a message? I had to split this one up or else it wouldn't post

This deal is just a pipe dream and i really don't think it will happen. Right now we need to make a move on players like Raef LaFrentz, Marc Jackson, and one of the Cleveland centers and pick something up before the deadline.

Something very positive about the season for us so far besides the return of Camby; at least we have awhile to figure out what we want to do and how we're going to go into the playoffs.
