Okay, Maybe Melo should be the inbound passer all game because he has thrown some dimes lately.

Melo really has natural passing talent but doesn't use it near enough consistently.

His shot is short a lot. I remember someone, Aaraton? writing an article that was critical of Shump lifting before games versus shooting before games. I hope that isn't what it is but his shot is really bad. His poor play on offense was talked about as a key to the game tonight by Wally.

Once you get used to working out like that your body adjusts to the workload and it has no ill effect. I doubt that he's doing that anyway at this point in the season. I'd like to see him take more of set shot as opposed to a true jumper. Just less height on the jump and more focus on the shot itself. I got more accurate switching to a low jump shot.

That's what Karl and MDA saw and tried to get him to use more.

I think Shump lacks spatial awareness to finish around the basket. I don't know what you can do to improve that. I am sure he practices on finishing around the rim but he is just not in-tune with his surrounding to make the correct play around the rim. Maybe, he can go on a martial arts retreat with a high sensei who blind folds him for a month to get him equip with his other senses.

See, this is why I thought it was unwarranted to just cut Earl Clark loose the way we did. No Amar'e, the team's playing lethargic on the 2nd game of a back to back and we're not playing well offensively (nobody really stepping up and taking charge here). I'm sorry but you don't cut a guy like Clark knowing this Tyler's not a big-time player, knowing K-mart will probably miss the rest of the year and Amar'e will invariably need a handful more games off to rest his knees. We definitely could've used this guy tonight...Dumb move.

Glad to see Cole getting some time tonight. Kudos to this young man for staying ready -- whenever this guy gets time he contributes on the glass and provides a real defensive presence...ATL won -- this is a must win for us. Hopefully we get our act together here. This Utah team isn't any good. We need to suck it up and take care of business.

Real quiet 20 pts for Anthony so far...Everyone needs to exert their will on this game much more. Utah out there floundering around not playing well. Come on man-- go out there and take it..

I agree about Clark. Also, I am glad Aldrich is playing ahead of Tyler.

It is amazing how you really can't throw a pass below Tyson's waist

That time out was about 5 jazz points too late.

Great D by smith to keep him contain on the baseline and then nice help by Melo to get the strip.
