The next 3 games will decide if we make it or not

Charlotte has slipped - they play BK,Hou,Port the next 3

Atlanta is .5 games behind them, playing NO, tor and phx

And we play LAL,Cleveland without Kyrie, and 76ers

We are so close.......

The next 3 can break us, but even with a perfect turn of events, still 2 games behind ATL in the loss column. I'm thinking Charlotte is our opportunity in. Sucks that we put our fate in their hands.

I'd love to make the playoffs, and it's frustrating we left it so long- but we need an epic collapse by either Bobcats or Hawks AND we need to have a red hot streak all the way until the end of the season (our last 7 or 8 games are pretty brutal). That's a long, long, long shot. I don't think we're going to make it, but now Phil's on board, I'm kind of looking forward to the offseason to see what changes we make, what happened with Melo and Tyson, etc etc.

Unfortunetly the Knicks should have decided to start the season in October instead of March. The winning streak is nice but it may be too late. I have to be honest even if we somehow get in we will be the 7th or 8th which means Miami or Indy right off the bat. At this point i hope we win as much as we can so we limit Denver's draft choice

Indy is flagging- I think they can be beaten, shame we left it too late to see if we could upset them.

Okay, so here are the Bobcats next three games:

Blazers tonight
Red hot Rockets on Monday
Red hot Nets on Wednesday

Then their schedule goes pretty easy. They do have a game near the end of the season against the hawks- which is great, as it means a guaranteed loss for one of them.

Hawks next few are:

Sunday Raptors
Monday Suns
Wednesday Twolves
Thursday Blazers
Saturday Washington

Hopefully they lose them all!

Maybe they will be resting players at that point. However my fear is the Nets make an extra special effort to block us from making the playoffs- that will be tough to sit with all summer...

I had really given up on this team but the win streak and now the arrival of Jax has me wanting to see what we can do in the playoffs. We are peaking at a good time, I think if we can sneak our way in we can do some damage.

Expectations will be low and I think that plays in our favor. Let's just hope Amare holds up physically this time and that we get a lucky break to make it in to the playoffs.

Last year I felt the same way about the team, I expected us to meet Miami in the playoffs and woody spoiled it.

Atlanta lost to Toronto this afternoon. YEAH UH

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

When you have the flu, you sniff nothing.

This team got the flu tonight.

Big opportunity wasted.

Keys to the loss:

1) let a team shoot 60 percent from the field AND ITS PHUCKING CLEVELAND!
2) aside from Carmelo, the rest of the team took 7 foul shots (0 from Stat and Tyson) - that is awful
3) Felton's defense (ugh)!!!!!!!!!!!
4) Melo had a very good TS but failed late (12-12 from the line was excellent though)
5) Melo does not get any assists in second half (again)
6) Jared Jack is the HOFamer of the day (we really enjoy making stars out of opposing PG's)

so here is what phil is thinking ....
