And it helps that the starting lineup is much better and stands a chance against indiana's. Talent wise Knicks are right there with the pacers. It's the other things like coaching, adjustments, play calling, substitutions and preparation that feel short of Vogel

This is such an important game and you get the sense that the players realize more eyes are on them now that Phil is here. Can't underestimate a bit more motivation.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

LOL @ Bird's criticism of Vogel and the team when they are 50-17. That's leadership. Demand excellence. It's what you need to be great like bird, Phil, Riley, pops etc

Aldrich is just a beyond awful offensive player. I didnt watch his breakout game or whatever but I have no idea how he ever scores...
