Phil mentions he wants a coach with a system...He didn't say triangle but emphasized ball movement...I think this ruled out a few coaches I had in mind...I think it rules out JVG and maybe Hollins...So who could these system coaches be???

Defensive system or offensive system? I don't know why but Billy Donovan comes to mind. I hope not though but only because I'm a UF fan. He has a system but it's not the triangle although there is heavy ball movement.

I wonder if he would go to an ex player without hc experience or a college coach without nba experience but very focused on fundamentals.

I think offensive because he mentioned ball movement a lot...John Thompson III has a hybrid system of the Princeton offense...

i still think steve kerr is going to be an option here. billy donovan would be a coupe if he's actually looking to leave florida - i think it's obvious he'd be the #1 choice. i still think phil is going to bring in someone who is willing to run/learn the triangle from him.

good mention with jtIII holfresh.. there might be a link there too since mills has ties to princeton.

Fred Hoiberg would be an excellent choice.

How about:

John or Bill Paxon?
Steve Kerr?
John Stockton?
Steve Blake?
Steve Nash?
Chase Budinger?
Dragic?

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Hollins is my coach, no nonsense.

He knew how to run a team

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
