Question:

When will the Knicks have their own draft pick that is not swapped or traded away?

could be this year, actually, as denver's record is not much better than ours.

i think they are better than us by 2 games right now.

This year we straight up have to give DEN our pick, no matter what. It's not a swap. Our 2016 was a swap however we gave that pick up to TOR. We have our 2015 and then 2017 on.

With Phil here I think getting the roster in order is the highest priority, so drafting another kid is probably far from what we'll need to be focusing on. The Draft is going to be exciting to see what moves we make. We might actually make out good when is over.

2015, then 2017 and every year after that (unless we make another dumb trade). If Melo walks, having to give up our pick in 2016 is a killer.

Don't count on it- Dolan hopefully can't demand players are traded based on his own ego, Phil supposedly likes Shump, plus we'll have a new coach and coaches seem to like Shump. Tyson however should be vanquished, just because we couldn't really resign him next year, he's getting older and he's the only player we have with trade value.
