He's the kind of player who just got better and peaked out as a senior athletic powerful undersized but can play multiple positions and does a lot of things well. He nearly had a 50-20 game this year.

PJ Tucker Phoenix Suns

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

ehhhh. not too impressed with him. i think he just used his MAN physique around college BOYS. cant shoot consistently. who knows..well see
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

A lot of guys playing real well-- both Cory Jefferson and Isiah Austin down the stretch. Russ Smith Mcdermott is going to solidify his top 10 pick. Cameron Bairstow is another PF sleeper. Last year I thought Jefferson was a first round pick--he did not play as well this year until late. You could really make the Knicks much more athletic say with a combo of Jefferson and Smith---many many players in the drafts late 1 into 2nd even undrafted can help this team

callmened that was they call an NBA body Iowa State has three of those guys.

I moved Russ Smith to the number 1 spot under 25--ahead of # 2 Kane and #3 Burton. I was so impressed with Russ Smith this weekend that I only hope that we can acquire him. He is a version of Tony Parker--incredible ball speed and body control. In fact his teammate Montrezl Harrell might have played his way into a top 13 pick or better. Ive watched a LOT of college ball--its easy to go back and forth with your thought process as its a fluid season and obviously you can only catch certain players so many times. Ive seen Smith play 4 years--if this guy slips past 25--then I hope we can acquire him. He is a defensive nightmare a one man fast break and while he may have some mental ups and downs--his 4 year resume--with possibly two NC speak out loud and clear. There is NOT one player in this draft with his combination of ball speed(moving with the ball) body control and athletic ability in one package. Hes become a mature shooter out to 3 and a very solid reliable mid rnage guy. Two games that really stood out--his 13 assists game against Uconn where he dominated without shooting and then came back a week later to scorch Houston for 42 points. Not a great re bounder but certainly not bad. You might be able to brings guys like Bairstow Bachyinski et al on a SL squad as non drafted players whoever the Knicks might like. If I had any say Id love to get Smith and either of Kane or Burton. 2 rookie PGs and carry 4.

I know this has nothing to do with basketball talent, but when was the last time a player from Louisville made a big splash in the NBA? Or for that matter a Rick Patino player?

It's been a minute. Francisvo Garcia is the last guy I can think of off the top of my head. Russ Smith reminds me of Terry Dehere, but I could see him developing into a Gilbert Arenas type of 1. I'm not saying he'll be as good as Gilbert. But I can see Smith developing into that kind of lead guard type.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick
