Jax unites with Lebron????

If Lebron wants on Mt Rushmore he is going to need them 6 or more rings.

Lebron was born to run the Triangle. Does Melo stay and join this "Bromance" or does Keven Love?

Lebron and Melo can be the new Jordan and Pippen.

Doubt it happens but it would be interesting.

I don't think its too far fetch. Lebron is on record for his love fest of Phil Jackson and his multiple rings..... And he has his eye on becoming the greatest ever. What best place than nyc that already has the building blocks of multiple championships with Melo and phil.

Lebron a opt out is 2014 isn't it? We won't have the cap room.

Also, I read an article on how close he is with the Heat organization so I am not sure he wants to re-live "the decision" and alienate another fan base.

As nice as it would/could be, I think the odds are not in our favor. It's not impossible though.

What building blocks? We're 15 games under .500. Why would he be better off coming here instead of staying in Miami where he's been to three straight Finals winning two of them?

Jimmie's building block$ of gold? LeQ already makes more in endorsements than every MLB player combined. Imagine the commercial value of NYC...
I wonder how CAA would play into this farcical scenario.

Better yet, imagine watching flopping up close and personal every night...

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

What was Jordan under Collins? Prolific scorer or all time great?

What was Kobe before Phil?

Phil might not create the two greats, but he made them winners!!!!

Can he do the same as a mentor? PHil has a history of blending stars with role players.
Thats my hope. In my book this whole freaking thing can be about Lebron. No predictions but Lebron going forward can't keep carrying more and more of the load in Miami.

Adding Phil makes us a better sell for Lebron plus the fact that Miami will decline with Wade. But we still have no cap room so it will take some wheeling and dealing.

Just have to move one of Tyson, Bargnani, or Stat to make it so this summer..........

Easy for me to say it.

Phil will get it done. He can use those Jedi mind tricks on some GM's.

If Phil can trade Tyson for a pg like Pierre Jackson, and Evans a line up of Tyler,Amare, melo, lbj, pjax. Thjr off the bench jr off the bench brags off the bench but the line up I like even better is Tyler,Amare, melo,jr,lbj that team is straight dirty and probably would win a championship.

You think Tyler is ready for prime time minutes and can hold up to starter minutes?

I'd rather like Tyler as PF/C off the bench and Tyson to stay with Amare exiled for his contract. While Tyson is no posterchild for durability, Amare is far less dependable.

Phil don't roll with a PG really. I Think Lebron as facilitator is better than any PG we could obtain.

Is there any financial scenario where we can have a trio of Melo-Lebron-Love after next season?

I'll take A trio of Lebron-melo-Bargnani for a year with Tyson.

Kevin Love in the Triangle is outright nasty! Take Gasol in his prime to gain that vision. Love is even better.

I don't know if Tyler is ready but he's super talented.
I'm excited to see what he can do with extended minutes tonight.

Damn well know if Lebron is opting out and will talk, he will let the knicks pitch him.

The miami story is interesting as all three of them can opt out. Or opt back in!!!!

The reality is the big decision is what they do with Wade. Sure he is on the path back and getting healthy but do they extend him like Kobe? He has been the greatest Heat player ever and him leaving would not be cool, but they can't bank on him any more and you can't rebuild with him.

They could let Wade opt out and replace him with Melo. Emphasis is "could". I don't see it, but then we just silly fans looking in!

Yes, Im excited and I hope for more transparency. I even enjoyed him and JVG verbal jabs over the years! He is a very intelligent man and a non conformist which is why I am baffled Dolan is taking him on. He is outspoken and that is in conflict with what MSG has allowed!

This should be interesting to say the least. WE JUST CHANGED THE CULTURE OF THE KNICKS! That might not mean a championship but my hope is in the next three years the trajectory of the team is changed and it succeeds for a long time.

Kudo's to Dolan for what ever compromise he has made to hire McKinsey, the logic that is Mills, for not making more dumb short term panic moves that would have clogged our cap further, and for digging deep into his pockets for Phil.

The funny thing is I think Dolan is really a non conformist at heart but is not the sharpest crayon in the box so he hides behind a patina that protects him and is very insecure. He might be dumb but somewhere is the substance abusing musician dude that needs a creative outlet. Being CEO might not be his thing. He is chasing his fathers expectations which is impossible to achieve.

Delegation is actually a sign of strength when a man knows his limitations.
