It’s the perfect out for Anthony as well. He knows he’s in a bad marriage that will only get worse. But Melo’s a good guy who doesn’t want to damage his image by appearing to turn his back on New York. However, most reasonable folks would agree that leaving this disaster is the prudent career move for Anthony. He should sign with Chicago, Miami or the Lakers and pursue that elusive title. Contrary to what you may think, the Knicks will survive. - Frank Isola

By 2015, there should not be a single remaining player (or coach) from this years roster. Not Tim Hardaway Jr. Not Jeremy Tyler. Not even Toure Murry. Nobody. You gotta start over? Start over.

The aroma of this season will remain in the fabric of the seats on the bench and the locker room. You gotta trash them too. There is nothing worth salvaging because this experience has left a permanent stain in the psyche of all who participated.

Rumors of Kevin Love, or any visiting player with a decent resume, are tabled until the Knicks scouting department develops an all star player from the draft. Speculation over free agents is nothing more than a distraction. Bring in five college players who play with unselfish passion and add three Summer Leaguers and two dudes for the Rucker.

Just make certain these ten men like each other, eat plenty of vegetables and have the sense to talk on defense.

"If there's hell below, they all gotta go." - Curtis Mayfield
