The news of Thomas's dislocated pinkie comes as no surprise. Surgery probably would have meant KT would have been out for an extended period, perhaps for the last month of the season + the playoffs.

His numbers and overall game suffered during that span. You wonder if the Knicks would have been better off putting KT on the shelf w/o having his trade value suffer... and instead just putting all of their money on the play of Baker/Sweetney.

Kurt did have 3 big games at the end of the Nets series. Hopefully that spiked his value a bit, as he ended the season on a high note.

Isiah shoulda traded Kurt for Malik Rose and the Spurs first rounder when he had the chance. Is he gonna get anything better? He could've used that pick or packaged it with Shandon to the Bobcats.
