Season ended when he came back. Our defense went down the toilet as did our 5 game win streak

100 percent agreed. Zero offense and takes plays off like Derrick Colman, also a loud mouth cry baby .... Like I said I don't wish injury on anyone but it would be nice if chandler didn't play another game for the Knicks. And trade his brick hands and god aweful shot, slow feet, and **** voice.

It is truely frustrating that Chandler doesn't take 5-10ft jump shots when he has shown the ability to knock them down. He could be so much better than he is.

I am inclined to agree. That was a streak against good teams as well. One other thing I remember reading involved how much better Shump played when Beno ran the point which I think was the case at the time. Anyway, really frustrated with Tyson and I hope the Knicks move him.

Sucks that Woodson didn't ease him back into the starting lineup like Kidd did with deron. Same as when from returned

Chandler was doing it earlier in the season, said he had been working on his jumper. It was going in then he just stopped. Its not like he went back to his post game. I get the feeling that his 2 year stretch from Dallas to NY including the olympics was his peak. What we see now is what he was more or less before he hit his stride.

And Woodson is the one that I hold most accountable if I must choose between one person, other than Dolan of course
He loss the team team last year in the playoffs with his ISO's, lack of adjustments, playing poor rotations, and while he was exposed but continued to bark and point at certain players
However, Melo likes being the man, he likes the glory, and Woodson will give him the opportunity to play Hero Ball instead of basketball

100 percent agree.... Get rid of woody and get a strong armed coach in here like jvg or tibs who will play the players that will give the most effort/ best chance to win...

JR was the one who really sunk us in the playoffs. If he hadn't imploded we would have been a lot more competitive IMO. I don't want Woodson back either but Smith's role in all of this can't be discounted. He was our number two threat, take him out of the equation and it was just Melo and Felton. Felton for the Boston series anyway. Tyson was also suffering from flu like symptoms.

Tyson quit early and often on this team --- he didn't like some teammates or the coach and quit.

He deserves to be shipped out on the first good train (trade) we see.

I agree. I am hoping he gets sent to the Raps or Bucks.

puzzled by Chandler. Can go quarters at a time where you don't notice him on the court.

Who could have imagined that putting 3 Stars (amare, Melo, Tyson) together would be such a flawed design?

Amnesty of Chauncy Billups will go down as the greatest colossal failure of this organization of the past 20 years. More and more sound minded basketball people are starting to realize this.
so here is what phil is thinking ....

You're talking about a 5 game sample?
Tyson has a positive on/off +/-. I know people here hate him but the team is playing better when he's on the court.

was he worth what they paid him? No one else aside from GS offered him a competitive contract. And, aside from that, we needed a PG not a CB amnesty at the cost of having to keep Amare.

He was also the most overrated DPOY that I have ever seen.

No, Tim Hardaway Jr is our only player possibly worth what he's paid.

THJ is a good shooter but not much else. We are overrating him just like we do everyone else. He is as good as where he was picked (maybe a bit better)

You also defended Tyson way too much until now.

I've always said tyson shouldve been traded when his value was high for a solid pg and a backup center. Would've changed this team a little....but as you can see....Still a very bad team eitherway.

Too much is an opinion unless you have an argument with evidence.
Yeah, TH Jr doesn't offer a lot. He's possibly worth his salary since he's on a cheap contract.
