Is this the worst season in post Ewing era? Have we hit a new low? Or have there been darker moments since #33 left MSG?

Vote and state your case.

Mills/Woodson - Melo, Chandler, JR, Felton
Isiah/Brown/Wilkins/Zeke - Starbury, Anucha, Z-bow
Layden/Chaney - McDone, Eisley, Anderson
Walsh/Pringles - Gallo, Chandler, Amare
The worst is yet to come...

It's really not fair to put Mills there. He hasn't done anything positive yet but he inherited the crap we're watching now.

Out of the last 14 years weve had 1 good year and spent 3 times as much as anyone else. I don't think anyone did a good job. The ONLY reason why this franchise went up in value was location. Jim Dolan had 0 to do with he Knicks being more valuable--in fact with money spent there will never be a worse owner in any sport in our lifetime. Hes that bad.

It's a tough choice for me but Isiah is still the worst. Layden sucked but at least there was no Marbury, no real scandals, and I think we won more than under Isiah although I could be wrong. Isiah was just embarrassing.

What we have now is getting close to Isiah levels though - but it's only been one season where the reign of Zeke lasted years.

Eh, our record is around .500 in the Melo-Stoudemire-Chandler era and I think it was closer to .400 in the Isiah era. I don't think the east was this weak in that era though. It's pretty darn close.

Well he supposedly is going to use a more statistically informed approach this time. He'll probably still get it wrong but I'm giving him a blank slate at least.

If that were true don't you think he would have made the Lowry trade while the asking price was still Shumpert, Raymond, and a first?

I think the Isiah tenure was the worse followed by Walsh/Dantoni in a close second. I think Walsh made a lot of mistakes including hiring D'Antoni. He was lucky he followed the worse gm ever in sports.

I think they demanded one more pick than that, right?
Regardless, you may be right but consider that Lowry was just an above average but not magnificent PG before his contract year, and he's probably due for a $60 mil contract now. And Dolan probably has the final say also.
