Hope we can get a 2 year deal with Bobby Brown with team option as well, though if we sign him NEXT summer, we would hold his early bird rights till after 2015, and he would be under CHEAP salary

I compare Bobby Brown to a poor mans Baron Davis/TJ Ford (NO/GS days)

Trades
=========
Pierre Jackson to be somewhere to between CP3, Nate Robinson, TJ Ford, and Darren Collison
I also like Brian Roberts as a serviceable PG on New Orleans, playing big for ALL STAR JRUE HOLIDAY

Though I don't think they would be available I also like backups

Reggie Jackson
Norris Cole

I believe both players are young and complete opposites, but are both starting quality PG's if they are surrounded by the right FIT of talent

Grabbing Shannon Brown (think I would prefer Ebanks over Shannon Brown at Brown's age) and Earl Clark, tells me we are still trying to make play offs
Well, we still need a PG to initiate our OFFENSE, like Lin did with his ability to penetrate and finish, ability to handle the ball, push the tempo, and facilitate, and hit a wide open 3pter

We need SPEED/QUICKNESS, it is the easiest way to allow team mates to play off one's ability, with the addition of Clark, both Melo and Clark would have the ability to both go inside/out depending on the match up and how the defense is playing us

We likely would need to play LESS of Tyson Chandler, possibly moving him to the bench as well, for this philosophy to work, he is a bit older, slower, lacks mobility, and is not a scoring threat, a reason why Melo and the Knick's struggled when Tyson started over AB, when AB/STAT/Kmart were playing well together before Chandler came back

With AB, possibly Kmart coming back, and Tyler deserving more minutes, do we even still need Alrich? He doesn't even have a team option for next season, what the point, he doesn't even play despite all these injuries to the BIGS

I have no problem with MOVING 2 out of the 3 SG's currently on our roster, along with moving Felton/Pablo if possible/maybe even buying them out for youth

Iman (OKC for their 2014 late 1st rounder and Perry Jones *to play Kmart/Amare's role*
I don't think he is nearly as bad as his STAT's are suggesting, he just needs to play in the right system, with solid DEF players at the SG/PG spot, more importantly a top tier PG that can facilitate/penetrate/defend like CP3, with good rebounders and an athletic C like DeAndre Jordan or in OKC with Westbrook/Durant/Ibaka
Courtney Lee was doing NOTHING in Boston and has played very well once traded to Memphis
Also like Trevor Ariza, who NEVER developed in NYK, Ariza developed in to a very good player on the Laker's, with the right players to compliment his length/abilities with Gasol, Odom, and Kobe
Change might be the best interest for both Iman and the Knicks
With Gym Rats in OKC and TEAM players on Clippers, or many other teams, I think he would play much better, though he must work back on his handle and SG/PG skills along with a whole new different gym routine to regain speed/mobility and not strength in order to defend SF's and sometimes PF's on switches in NYK

Tim Hardaway JR if the price is right, with some of the talent in this years draft, and or 1 young player and/or early draft pick if Burton or Jordan Bachynski is available
These are 2 players that I totally agree with Brigg's that they are a under their current value/projected draft position
He does have talent but he is a chucker/STREAKY shooter, and is willing to take too many poor shots
However, if you pair him with a PG that can penetrate like Sessions, I believe he would excel on OFFENSE, but he still has to work on his DEF, PG/Handle skills, and shot selection
What I do like about him is his ability to move WITHOUT the ball and the shoot the ball in catch and shoot scenarios with good use of pics/player movement/ball movement

JR Smith, he is not the highest IQ player and has some character issues, but I do not think last year was a complete fluke, however, he needs to surrounded with talent, and he MUST work hard to get back in to his NBA shape and recover his physical abilities he had last year
Despite all of his headaches, he does have talent, and does try to play team ball, is willing to move the ball/facilitate, he just doesn't have the physical abilities he had last year and is lacking the talent needed to play that facilitating role he excelled in for the majority of the season especially his late season run prior to the Terry incident
He is streaky in terms of scoring but if he can concentrate on REBOUNDING, PENETRATING, FINISHING, drawing FT's, and FACILITATING with consistency, his value could rise dramatically

I don't think hunger will be an issue since he has a player option for 2015 summer, if we do trade him instead, well that is some more salary we can use in 2015 summer

Knicks won't go after a younger more talented pg until Melo moves on, or gets his new contract.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Bobby Brown isnt exactly young, my guess is Alrich is next for a PG

Kmart - depening on health and if we continue to lose or not, releasing him and grabbing a younger player for continued develoment makes sense

Murry - i just havent seen enough of him to analyze if he is worth a spot, he doesnt have a team option either

If we are adding players like Shannon Brown and was thinking about Dahntay Jones,
We are either thinking about competing for a playoff spot or pulling a gadzuric with team options which only works if Melo walks or is sign and traded

No need- Shannon Brown and Earl Clark are just 10 day contracts, if we want to sign Brown, we'll likely just let one of those two go.
