i didn't see much knicks games this season(i live in israel only sometimes on nba tv or espn the knicks are on).
i saw marb getting some great dunks as a wolf, net, sun (that great dunk against the wolves as a net = WOW!!).
i just wondered ,did he get to dunk for the knicks?
what was his geatest play of the season?

He did against the Rockets in Marbury's home game debut I believe and I've seen him dunk one other time. That's all that I remember.

Ya, I saw him dunk wit the knicks, but I didn't see the one gainst the rockets...not sure if it was against philly or wat.

Greatest play of the season IMO is back to the dallas game. Drawing the foul on Nash for 3 shots then coming up with the steal.

Marbury never had a good vertical lift, even at GT. He's quick and powerful, a tough combination, its usually 1 or the other, but he is only mediocre in terms of getting off the ground.

hey wake up!!
did you see the dunk he made when he was a net against minnesota?
his head was near the rim...and he is no 7 footer
that was one of the greatest dunks i have seen...
he reversed the ball in like it was an easy layup..
see this dunk and tell me if its no "vertical lift"

You guys try to cruxifiy me when I say Tony Parker is a bum....then you say Marbury never really had a good vertical leap?

Geez would someone post the link to the Marbury highlights again for Briggs? Marbury was catching more alley-oops in New Jersey then K-Mart at the time. KG used to give Marbury alley-oops.

I gotta make a silly rap about you Briggs if the moderators will allow me to:(It's clean so relax)

Geez louis,

Some body take Briggs away for the Moderator give the ok

outta ur arse so move farse leave a trail of darse,
cuz you got no smarts, talking spit like a freakin retard,
you need to be behind bars you got sars, internet poster scars,
change your screen name from Briggs
and leave it in a big hole that you dig
and give it a grave with a chizled line that should say
I was the best poster ever, all you others were gay.

whoever said marbury never had a good verticle leap has just convinced me that they have never seen him play.... Steph has a very good verticle and in minn, I can remember him catching ally oops and he even did a windmill dunk.. with the knicks he had several dunks, but really why does he need to waste the energy....

Briggs I was just cracking on you so don't go post-al , get it

He's the link to the Marbury highlights from earlier in his career. http://www.30mb.com/x/rady/marbury_in_action.wmv

He has dunked on occation but not for no reason like he used to. I think he's just learned how to conserve his body now that he's been in the league a while.

Check out the alley-oop everyone was talking about.

wowwwwwww this guy is buggin... Marbury gets higher off the ground on his JUMP SHOT than most players do on dunks.... and when he was in georga tech he had this play where they inbounded from half court allyoop to marbs for an amazing dunk that one play made him instantly my fav player it was absolutely incredible how high he was.. and its absolutely incredible how high briggs must be lol

lol, you must still be hanging over from that Mothers Day Sam Adams, eh Briggs? I remember I went to a Knick vs Suns game, a couple of years ago (Knicks first losing season, but it was a Knicks comeback win!). During the warmups before the game, we were sitting up high, behind the Suns basket, and I saw this little short kid (Compared to the other Suns) springboarding up, like nothing, and catching alley oop passes from the top of the square on the backboard. I was shocked, but that was b/c I forgot Marbury was on the team. The short kid turned out to be Marbury. The kid may have lost a few inches on that verticle (Even though he still has a nice one!), but 3 years ago, he was unreal!

I can only second that sentiment!!! I was at a heat game some years ago and being a big marbury fan, was watching his warmup moves...
his jumpshot was IMPRESSIVE he seemed to hve such a hight in his J!!! it seemed unreal!!!! if you dont believe me, look at the 3 pointer from mid-court at the end of that vid, earlier on the threat!!!
this guy still has a BIG vert. !!!!
did marbury dunked as a knick yet?
