It's about freaking time this opinion becomes general known knowledge..

I don't know if it is necessary for the Knicks to completely rebuild in order to be a contender, but I wouldn't mind. I like watching young players get a chance to develop; look at the situation in Philadelphia. They gave Iverson time to develop and now have one of the top teams in the east.
What about a guy like Lavor Postell? Wouldn't he get more minutes on a different kind of team? I'd like to see someone like that grow into their potential with the Knicks. We really haven't seen that since Ewing.
It doesn't mean you never do trades to get more experienced guys and to improve, but making major changes to the lineup every year doesn't do much to help the chemistry of the team, which also takes time to develop.
And if some of the fair-weather friends, who are only around when the Knicks are winning, decide to stop going to games, maybe ticket prices will come down and loyal fans can afford to go to the garden again.
