god please no.
lol funny story, after Linsanity was over, starting the next season the Hawks were advertising "Insani-Teague" across billboards in Atlanta... trying too hard?

I been mentioning Atlanta before with trades involving hortford and tyson. That makes us both better.

Now if we could get Teague too? That would shut me right up.

Hortford and Teague for Tyson, felton and shump....

That's a dream but I would do that in a heartbeat

teague is not worth both felton and shump. I think Shump will turn it around sooner or later, felton i would trade for a bag of potatoes at this point

So what's Teagues worth if Felton is worth a sack of potatoes?

If you comb the league Atlanta is the only team that needs a center. Milsap is their all star power fwd. They could be better with a starting 5 of milsap, korver, tyson, felton and shump. They have Schroder in the wing and Lou williams too. That's a team ready for the playoffs.

The knicks on the other hand would have Hortford in the pipeline for next year with Teague helping this year. Knicks need a shake up like this and it could propel them this year and next.

Shump is terrible but maybe Atlanta is sold on building with Schroder and Shump? Depends on how you can sell it or their mindset. Shump still has potential sadly not with the ny knicks

I totally disagree with you here. I doubt Hawks would take that trade, but I would jump on that trade 100 times out of 100.

Jeff Teague is exactly what we need. A super quick pg who will push the tempo and can get into the paint at will. With that said, why would ATL trade him?

it's gotta be trade deadline Bull**** but they drafted Schroder and they say he's the pg of the future. Maybe they say the future is now and get tyson in there to help their center problem.

Jeff Taegue is an upgrade over Felton but why would Atlanta want a downgrade and a d league player?

Ah, so according to the article we may be interested in Teague as a 3 way (Lowry to Knicks, Shump to hawks and a hawks pick to Toronto). Failing that we're interested in Teague.

Yeah, that trade makes Atlanta worse. But maybe they can be convinced to take our two below average guards for their average point guard? Teague isn't elite, kinda like Felton was in his heyday. Atlanta is overpaying him and they might want to unload him for cap reasons. I don't want to give up a first round pick in a Teague trade tho.

Atlanta didn't want Teague (I think they ended up signing him rather than lose him for nothing), so they probably are willing to ditch him for an asset.

Yeah, was just reading that Ferry is not too pleased with Teague's contract. If thats the case, Ferry is not taking back long contracts (no Felton or JR), so Chandler may be able to get it done, but I do not like the idea of giving up a big for a small straight up. Need something else back...maybe a pick....
