It's a league where u need multiple scoters and we start 3non scoters in prigs Tyson and shumpert. The only way to get better is to change the team and coach

Absolute truth. I'm so sick of the knicks. I just can't believe they are going to make us suffer like this...either get help or blow it up....no they refuse to do either. I can't take it

I said the same thing going back to last years playoffs yet we continued to trot out that pathetic starting lineup of Melo and no one else

This is the team they wanted so **** them

I really hope they miss the playoffs. Lastnights loss to Sacramento is a huge step

a lineup of ray, prigs, shump, melo and tyson is playing 1.5 vs 5. prigs, tyson and shump are not offensive players. ray was but sucks now
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Meldo did have 2 teammates in the front-court who scored around 20 on almost 70% shooting.
I'd just say we need more competent back-court players. They need to be better scorers but they need to be better at everything else too.

So you think Tyson is a scorer? Get the ball down low and go Hakeem on opponents?

What are you talking about? Tyson is not even a marginal scorer. We can't be calling plays for him!

That's not true. Allow Tyson to turn and shoot the foul line jumper only as most defensive centers lay off of him.

If we had a real coach, he would tell Tyson to shoot that shot when open every time they lay off of him.

That's how he could contribute to the Knicks offensively outside of alley oops and put backs dunks.

That alone brings a big center out from protecting the basket.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

If scorer means scoring points, then he's above average for a center.
If it means something else, and usually it does for people, then I'd need you to define the term.

I believe Tyson is shooting around 38% on all non Dunk shots but Bonn is right that a good back court would help. However, its hard to constantly get Tyson the ball on Lobs.

This is on Woody. I have said this time and again he needs to get Amare in. He has decent scorers in the back court but he keeps Parading a stupid line up that no other coach would throw out there.

here is the problem I've noticed with our players - when the ball gets swung around, and the player catching it has a slight advantage on the defender, they wait- for the defender to adjust before making their next move.

rarely do they attack or look to exploit the defender.

some of this is on the players. And some of the guys - obviously Tyson- are limited in their abilities to attack the basket.

but I think a lot is on the coach to encourage the players that can attack - Shump, JR, Felton, THjr- to try to do so.

I agree we need more offensive talent- but I would also assert we need a new system and coach to try to help our talent be more effective.

Speaking of Offense. When Melo, TC, and Stat are in the game why only TC sets the for Melo? Why isn't the best pick and roll player at one time was in the league not involved with Melo in pnr? That would be scary offense.

I mean cut the bull****. Tyson got those lobs because Sacramento sucks. He does not need to be shooting 15ft jumpers all the time. That would make him bargnani and if you want tyson shooting then I would rather have bargnani out there.

Anyway Tyson is a myth and it makes me angry how fans still talk about his defense and leadership and still talk about how he needs a point guard and now we need to get him jumpshots?

Come on now. You deserve this team....indiana exposed Tyson and closed off the lobs and kept him off the boards. That will happen again and again. What the **** is going on? Im so angry

He most certainly is not. Chandler last night--every time he got the ball late in the game he wasn't even looking at the rim, wasn't even thinking about scoring. All he was focused on doing was getting it to Melo. Can't have stuff like that. I want everyone to be a threat out on the court, esp. the final 5 Woody chooses to close out the game.

I agree we could use more scoring. Legit scoring. Go-to scoring. Guys that aren't afraid. Guys that can get it done late with games on the line..
