Melo I know that you are upset with the way the Knicks are playing. Melo we gave up draft picks and a whole team to get you. What was you thinking? You knew that after all we gave up to get you we had no team left. Look I know that you didn't know that Amare would be hurt but things happen. Even with him healthy we had no team left. You mean that you are gonna walk out on us at the end of the season and leave us with nothing the same way you walked in? That ain't right. We both share the blame for this screwed up team. We seem to think that some of our players are better than what they really are. You can leave New York if you want to and you will be remembered as the man who ran out on New York. You owe us something. Think of La La. She will not be looked upon the same way in New York. It's not her fault.
Melo you need to do the right thing and stay and help build up what you and Dolan took down. Our team was not that great before you got here but we did have picks and decent players. How could you be surprised that we stink now. We will not be at full strength until 2015 and if you leave even if we have cap space it will be hard for us to get a franchise player.
So Melo it's up to you weather you stay or go I will still be a Knicks diehard fan but I wonder will we ever be a contender again while Dolan is running this team. Remember this ain't Cleveland. This is New York the Mecca of basketball.

I said it 3 years ago and I'll say it again If melo could have just waited to sign with us as a free agent then things would ahve been better. I dont give a damn about the CBA/lockout because the guy was already filthy rich. If he wanted to play for his hometown team he could have sacrificed a little bit of money. Thats my only issue with Melo. But like yu said we gutted the team and actually helped out Denver. All i ask from Anthony is that he informs the Knicks his intention to leave so we could at least get some assets from a trade

Melo will not inform anyone. That is his ammo going into negotiations and feeling out other teams.

I dont really understand why Melo owes this. I mean guys get traded. Look at Deng. Dude does nothing but play great ball, be a model citizen, the coach loves him, he's playing where he wants... and poof now he's a cav and his professional life is miserable.

I make good money but Im not rich, mostly because of the cost of living in this area, but I HAVE been poor. I dont understand the sentiment, that because some make more, considerably more it has less value and they have a set of conduct they have to follow that others dont.

Melo does not control the environment at MSG. His threat of leaving is the only true leverage he has. Why is this so hard to understand. He's a man, why do folks expect him to lay down and be a good boy? I wouldnt. The only thing Melo owes Knick fans is effort on the court.

This would be cute if it was from an 11 year old who sleeps in Knick Pajamas, beds in Knicks sheets, curtains and a poster of Melo in his room.

Regarding "be better if he went free agent"......Well yeah, but not for him.
NObody made Knicks do that trade, nobody put a gun to Dolans head. Melo was not going free agent. Not with minor knee surgery, not with a new CBA.

He knows he gutted the team, and now your asking him to gut another so he can walk into another situation? He is not stupid.

BTW, Melo is not reading this. Life is not fair. We traded Clyde. Business first.

dolan better wake up and realize that there's more than a 50% chance that he doesn't re-sign. and a larger than 50% chance should be enough to sway an owner without a gambling problem to trade and get assets while he still can.

woodson is running carmelo to the ground playing him at PF. he's getting beat up day in and day out on the floor.
how long is that body going to last? trade him while the 62 point game has his value up real high.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Very Good Point. Look i actually like Melo but giving him 30 million per year when he is going into his 30's is very very risky. He has a lot of milage on him. Its only a matter of time befor ehe starts to break down physically. Only a guy like lebron mght be able to play at the same level until he is 37 only becase he is an athletic freak f nature and is the best player since Jordan.

This from someone who has wet dreams about the Coliseum, Net's afros and ABA cheerleaders in leather hip waders...

Gutted the team:
Let's review, for the billionth time, shall we?
1) Felton. Remember when he was all we had in the backcourt?
2) Gallo. How's that career on the IR progressing?
3) Mayor. 3 years of 1st round bounce outs. I forget, have the Nuggs retired his jersey yet?
4) Moz. 3 years and one showcase game. Cole Aldrich doesn't even have a Blake Griffin crotch poster moment yet.

And what did we get for all this gutting? From crap records and a walking wounded Amare knees half season blowout to the best player the team has had since Ewing or BK. 2nd round. 50 win season.

"He knows he gutted the team." Think Melo knows why people are still fussing over what they're not doing in Denver, 4 years later?

We traded Clyde when he was no longer any good. Not that Jim Cleamons was worth sheet either, but hey. We sold low.
We traded Ewing and he spent the next two seasons putting up Bob Thornton's numbers.

Melo just might have a flunky posse member reading this for him. Collecting fan thoughts and quotes for the autobiog.

Life goes up and down fellas. Relax. We're still the Knicks and everyone else isn't. For everyone but people like tkf, dfkt and the invisible 3G4G, that just might mean something.

i always wonder if you are ever on planet earth when you post.. really, lets look at things this way..

lets say we still had gallo on IR all year
Moz was still getting dunked on by blake, (the relevance of that here is also mindboggling)
and chandler and his 3 years first round bounce outs.. (forget that carmelo has the worst playoff record in decades..)

lets say they were here and all of that was true...

we would still be in better shape than we are now... we would still have our cap flexibility and our picks, especially this year!!!! YOU DO REALIZE WE ARE 19-30????

Gallo. How's that career on the IR progressing?

Great I guess.. he still gets paid, he is slated to be back 100% next year, to "team up' "run with" the lottery pick they get from the knicks.. and BTW: with all of the injuries.. his team is still above .500

And still in great position to get bounced out of the first round, right? Above .500??? You're crowing about being above .500? Gallo gets to wait till next year?? I seem to remember that being the case when he was here too, right? Missing seasons seems to rank high on your value scale.

We would be in better shape in your world where 29 win seasons and not making the playoffs is better off. Because for you, tkf, everything's better without Melo.

Tell me tkf, if things are so bright and cheery in in Denver, why are you still here, all these years later, posting out of both your azzhole and your fistula? You realize the same things keep coming out of both holes right?
