I watched last nights game and observed a few things and what I observe is usually obvious. 67 shot attempts for the entire game this is usually the product of ISO ball and lack of running. Miami defense looked good but I am a believer that the Knicks guards made Miami look that good. The pace of the game was awful if it weren't for Hardaway getting out on the break it would have been worse. Free throw attempts only Melo and JR went to the line. And I think Tyler. When the PGs aren't getting to the line it's a bad sign it means they are not pushing the tempo and are not going hard to the basket.

It was a playoff atmosphere last night and the Knicks performed at playoff level. Which is exactly how they played last year. Lack of explosion slow it down nothing easy. This is what Woody is all about. If Knicks want to get away from this I suggest that they run more and more. This avoids excessive Isoball. Woody needs to stop being afraid to run.

You cant run the whole game when you have a fat slob like Felton as your PG. He'll get winded after the first quarter.
