Soory guys, but I don't see anything bitter there.

they got crushed, and THAT, is a great thing.

Wallace is not the only issue. Even if they didn't win, he could stay there.

At least, we avoided that kind of embarasment against them.

I'd love to see them destroyed in four games.

Go pistons.

They got exposed....

The Pistons did what the Knicks failed to do and thats simply put a body on them and play your game.

The Pistons are a team 1-12. Awesome. I hope they play this way through the whole series. They all fit with one another and trust each others skills and knows their roles. It's just the way it should be and it's beautiful.

I can't wait till the Knicks get like that. One good trade, a couple of roster moves and one free agent pick up.
I can't wait till the Knicks get there.

I want teams to fear the Knicks again. I want them to circle the Knicks as a team they want to play as far as a measuring stick to how good they are.

Geez I hate the Nets....they got waxed.

If the Nets got exposed than where does that leave the Knicks? I think this is the first game and the Nets weren't going to win game one. You know the Nets will make adjustments and they won't shoot as badly as they did in the game last night. We have all seen teams comeback from a beating to win the series. Examples, NYK against Boston Knicks lose 2nd game by 40 points come back to MSG and win both home game and beat Celtics in Boston Garden. Bulls get beat by Cavs in playoffs by 40+ points Bulls win series. I'm betting on the Nets to pull the series out.

When you guys say "I want the Nets to win", you're hurting the Knicks. The more rounds and games the pistons win, the less of a chance Wallace will come to the Knicks...Suck it up and root for the Nets....I don't want to, but I have to in order for the Knicks to be better next season. Net's in seven.

this is why i say the knicks are so far off. unless the knicks have a trade or mle miracle happen to them, we ar not in the same hemisphere as detroit indiana or the Nets--the Nets are getting a very high skilled 7 footer next year+ they could score big in the draft at their position. I see them being aggresive big, so I see the Nets being much improved next year--back up to the level of indiana and detroit. Even against the knicks it seemed the nets played 4-5 with collins who stinks. then we factor in teams like clev with lebron who could become jordnaesque at any moment the heat who are a very good basketball team - a C orlando could make a huge turn around.
Thats where i get the 36-38 numbers sans a move like grabbing a dampier for the mle.

Sorry bro, it looks like Wallace is a Piston. He likes being there, he is playing well, and he is on a contending team. NYK is a couple years away from that and Sheed has plenty of cash - he can choose to play for a ring now. Not to mention Detroit has more money then we do.

I also see the same things that you see. I think the KNicks are relying to heavily on H20 to be healthy. They need major improvements at the PF if they are to compete with the better teams. Sweetney I like a lot but I think size is going to be his downfall. I would try and move Sweetney to the Wizards for Brown. Try to use KT in a sign and trade to bring in Dampier who I think won't join the KNicks for a MLE. He is going to ask in the range of what KT makes 8 million or so. Use the exception and somehow lure Steven Jackson.

The team loses: Sweetney, KT,

They get: Dampier, Brown

MLE signing: Jackson

Starting lineup looks like:
Tim Thomas/Penny sf
Kwame Brown/Baker pf
Dampier/Nazr c
Houston/Jackson sg
Marbury/Norris g

Rest of Bench: DerrMarr, Deke, OH

it's out of our hands. it's up to detroit - are they going to sign sheed or okur? they can't do both. then, will he accept the MLE to come here? regardless of what the pistons do, it's in their court right now.

I saw the team that Crushed the knicks get crushed themselves, making our knick team even more pathetic in my eyes.

What is a good team? Not a collection of names, but the sum of the pieces.

how that comes together remains to be seen. H20 is a big piece to the puzzle.

Knicks were without 2 of their startes...
Mavericks are a great team and lost to the Kings in 5 (Round1). and they were healthy...
Pistons lost one to the Bucks... who I think we can take...

Just putting things in perspective...
Nets had our number...
We had no shooters...
Our star was shut down due to double and triple teams...
and we had no inside defense...

Pistons did a great job in that game one.
They contested every layup and dunk.
They were'nt afraid to bang their bodies against the Nets.
They slowed the game down... to a half court..
We on the other hand.. tried to beat the Nets at a fast paced game.
All these reasons played against us...
All in all.. they had our number... no excuses...

We were in the doldrums for the past two years... due to incredibly bad management.
We are on our way back up...
I for one am grateful to be on the rebound from a bad 2 year stint...
We are looking good for next year...
and even better for the year after that...

We have alot to look forward to...
To compare our team to teams from the NBA's Elite 8 and bring up example after example of how we are not like them is not only wrong.. but a waste of time...

We are not an elite team... noone ever claimed we were...
But we are on the rise...
And I for one.. am excited about that...

In a way, I for one am very happy with the way the Nets wooped our ***. That along will give management and our coaches extra incentives to put together a much better roster. It is very evident now that Kurt Thomas and Anderson do not fit in our plan. Isia will do the necessary to accelerate our growth.

Rasheed Wallace is not coming to the Knicks.

The only people even talking about this are Knicks fans.
